@Serhat Torbali I was under the impression that the songs were written by the Motown Group - which they were - so I thought these boys had limited talent.
@katiespade86255 жыл бұрын
@Serhat Torbali i didn"t know that ' but you have heard that these "songwriters" go into sessions with talented musicians and they help them write - and did you know that it was Quincy jones that helped michael write those hits and that when he stopped working with quincy the quality of his songs went down - i am not familiar with the two albums you mentioned - frankly i doubt if there good songs -
@katiespade86255 жыл бұрын
@Serhat Torbali Okay I didn't study too much on their songs - I know the early songs of the Jacksons were written by the Motown Group - and at some point, I guess they started writing the songs themselves. I'll take your word for it, cause like I said I really don't know - what I know I simply glossed over. But it is curious that these guys can take up instruments and without any guidance learn how to play - that is talent. I played guitar for 20 years and got nothing from it - cause as a man once told me in Central Park as I was playing a guitar on a park bench he said "it's what you were born with" and that about sums it up. Frank Zappa's son - was taught how to play the guitar by Steve Vai - only for a short time and Frank Zappa's son learn how to play also - some people are just born with talent. Eddie Van Halen's Son also learned how to play on his own.

Michael could sing at 5 but he wasnt the lead singer then. He played percussion(bongos, tamberines, and symbol) from 5-6. Then from 7-8 he was co-lead singer with Jermaine. I live in Canada I'm from Canada and there's no if ands or buts that children need discipline with love they need a spanking on their buttocks but not a beating. The Holy Bible of God even states do not spare the rod spank your children yes for doing wrongthere are also other ways of disciplining your children in this time and age so that they don't turn around and be revengeful or rebellious. Do things like giving them a time-out age appropriate.. ground them. Take away their phones they're their Games etc.Equally important you must show them love you must say what a good job when they do things good. Build their self-esteem

That's not an abusive Father. That's a working-class Dad with 9 kids in a bad neighborhood keeping his kids line so the police won't have to. If the black community had more Joseph Jacksons as fathers, who knows how great things would be for them. He beat his ass for disobeying, then gave him the guitar because he showed talent and clearly had been practicing. That's discipline, love and parenting all in one.

@arlene12345ful4 жыл бұрын
@@dythiaviney430 Because of Berry Gordy the Jackson 5 became famous and Berry was more of a father to Michael than Joe. Joe hit his children for their dance steps not being perfect, that was not discipline and it was not normal or necessary. Not all black families treated their children that way. MJ has cried telling the world his situation at home, it was a love hate one with his father. He feared him, but never felt Joe showed him love. I known many black families and they do not treat their children that way. Throwing things at a child is not normal. Joe did take them to bars, and other places to play. He was persistent. It was MJ talent that made him successful.

Amen, Tito is right, even your neighbors could discipline you ..and in school we surely got spanked with that THICK wooden paddle, would cry, be stinging, and nothing you could do but sit on down and wipe those tears up! oh and this was the 70s, lol

Quite simple. This generation (as a result of the last generation).... Kids are having kids, so what's a kid going to teach another kid? That's why this generation is messed up.

Such a humble man. Always realize everytime you see a outcast in class or treat one of your family members differently, you might not know it but they might just be the new Michael Jackson.

if you use violence to instill lessons violence will also be used to resolve them ruling by fear is the way of the streets not the way to raise the future just raising a scary ass dummy not teaching or empowering the little mind just berating it Effective parenting 😂

Of all the Jackson’s Tito is the one I’ve come to respect the most. Especially now that I’m older. Notice how he appears to be the most grounded of all his siblings.

Joe was an excellent father. I agree with Tito. People always talking about the good old days. Well, they were so good because kids stayed in a kid's place. Adults were adults not overgrown teenagers.

One BIG mistake Joe Jackson made was not to trade mark the name The Jackson Five. Berry Gordy must had jumped on that very quickly knowing that Joe did have a clue about the Music business.

Tito was always considered to be the tough one in the group, the enforcer. Tito is dropping some knowledge about children being raised by active parents who whopped ass and kept their kids on the straight and narrow
