They had one of the greatest feuds in pro wrestling history. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and rival Tito Santana put on matches that were so very brutal yet very competitive. On November 23, 2019 Bill Apter handed Tito the "Apter Chat" microphone as Tito reunited with Valentine at the Icons of Wrestling convention in Philadelphia. Here is the very fun result of this exclusive interview...

These guys were tremendous workers! Outside of the WWF rock n’ roll circus, these guys were the true wrestling ingredient of the company. Hammer and Tito I salute you 👏!

Their cage match is the reason I became a die-hard fan. I was already watching, but once I saw that match I said I could never miss wrestling again.

It makes sense that two wrestlers who feuded for three years would become friends, but both guys sold so well, you thought they hated each other back in the day.

Both of them were tough as hell, great technicians in the ring, and gave it 100% every time they faced off!!! I also loved the angel where both of them were using the Figure Four Leg Lock as their finisher. Hated it when they had Tito go back to the flying forearm after his feud with The Hammer was over.

To watch both Tito Santana and Greg the 🔨 Valentine I always thought that Greg Valentine was as mean as a junkyard dog but to watch him in AEW wrestling when Cody Rhodes vs. The late Brody Lee in a dog collar match in a dog collar match and Greg Valentine watching it it ringside he was the innovator he and Roddy Piper in the very first dog collar match sometimes we take for granted wrestlers white potato and gray cuz once they stop wrestling we can look back as they are legends in the sports

Tito was more of a jobber than Greg. WCW really jobbed out Greg. Losing to Bagwell was a travesty.
