I am such a huge fan. I have been dancing for almost 10 years and he is one of my inspirations. It is tough when there is such a stigma against male dancers here in the US and other places. It's such a thrill to see such talent.

I have never seen anyone squat and do a hip circle before. He makes everything look so effortless and perfect, especially the shimmies. He is wonderful. I wish I could have him as a teacher!!!!!!

Oriental Dane/Belly dane is also social damce and in Egypt both men and women dance the same way. Just can't see many male professional dancers. However, if you go to Egypt, you can see evrybody dance the same way. Oriental dance is NOT only for women, but men too.

Some would argue that this is very feminine way to dance and that men shouldn't belly dance ,but I think men should dance... Notice he dances this perdominatly feminine dance but in a masculine way... I don't think I woman would move quite the same as he does. Again he does feminine moves but as a man would do them.... very interesting to watch... entertaining as well and you can tell it makes him happy to do it.
