The raccoon was petrified of the dog and spends the whole video trying to get away. The whole “piggy back” thing at the end is the raccoon trying to drown the dog. Look it up they do it all the time in the wild in defence

Having raised two myself, this little guy has got in made. He’s got a great Dad. My two got older and independent, came from our woods when I called. Their visits become fewer and fewer throughout time. I figured their wild instincts took over to lead the life they were supposed to lead, independent, in the woods. I sure do miss the little fellas. Enjoy him, they are wonderful animals.

WOW Mitchell !!! I love ALL your GREAT videos, of your special little, buddy - Tito! :) YOU DO AN AWESOME JOB of putting these EXCELLENT PRESENTATIONS together!!! ....under water shots, comical reverses in their motions, music, scenery, etc.... It's all tremendous - but especially your special little Tito!!!! I was blessed to've cared for 3 little racoons for about 4 weeks this summer. Did they, and me ever bond, though! .....They are now with a wildlife rehabilitator. FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS I have MISSED THEM IMMENSELY!!!!! Other You-tube videos have 'helped me' some - but YOURS & TITO'S have been/are THE BEST!!! :) It would be GREAT if I could possibly, ever get to talk with you, sometime. Yes because When in “danger” or they feel threatened raccoons will lure animals (or potential predators) into water than sit on their head/neck till it drowns. Read up on it. That’s why the raccoon is nearly on the dogs neck when it jumps out. Nothing funny about this I’m afraid

Yes trying to drown Penny! Raccoons will lure an animal chasing them into water then sit on their head/neck to drown them. The raccoons is PETRIFIED of them dog and spends the whole video trying to escape. Read up on raccoon and water, this is not funny at all!
