Sharing some reminders today to encourage us the role we've been called to as keepers of our homes (Titus 2:3-5).
"God is always doing 10,000 things in your life, and you may be aware of three of them."

“The challenge of ministry in our home is that we do not always feel very “spiritual” when we wash our dishes. It hardly feels significant to scrub our toilet. and we can feel that we are truly ministering when the Lord uses us to communicate a word of wisdom to someone, or He provides an opportunity to share the gospel with our neighbor. That seems like real ministry. And that is real ministry to be sure! But no more so than when we are wiping runny noses or cleaning the bathroom. That is because we have a very narrow view of true spirituality… The Lord wants to help us see the significance of ministry at home. He also wants to expand our vision for the multiple opportunities that we have for ministry in the home. Let’s ask the LORD to help us gain a biblical perspective of our ministry at home.”
~ Carolyn Mahaney
“There simply are not many grand moments of life, and we surely don’t live life in those moments. No, we live in the utterly mundane. We exist in the bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways of life. This is where the character of our life is set. This is where we live the life of faith”
~ Paul Tripp
“This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God’s way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness.”
~ Elisabeth Elliot

Great video! My grandmother was the quintessential 1950's housewife and mother of four. She did not have a driver's license, therefore her husband stopped at the grocery store on his way home from work. Every single Friday evening was a cereal night. Think of that, the perfect 1950's housewife did NOT do all the shopping herself, and did NOT cook 7 days per week. Also, she made dessert once per week. She did not serve a 5 course meal every day as the media portrays that time period. She also never ran a carpool or played "taxi mom". Every generation is so different and we must adjust. Loved this reminder that it's okay to eat cereal sometimes, and not hold ourselves to these impossible standards and lose sight of what is most important- relationships within the family and shining a light on our various paths. Thanks!

Your video popped up on my suggestion list. I'm a new found homemaker. I've been a stay-at-home mother since 2018 and saw myself as JUST a stay-at-home mother. God convicted me that I was seeing myself in the wrong light. I'm a homemaker and sooooo far from perfect. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone with imperfections and as we continue in Christ, it is he who changes us.

Great content, it was a blessing for me. I don't come from a christian home, but I see clear now how important and how influential a godly mother is to a son. This is the kind of advise I would've loved to receive as a kid. God bless you and your family.

You are so encouraging! Your transparency helps me to realize that I have to give God my best and let Him give me grace. Doing nothing, being idle and lazy, staying anxious are not God's ways...so I have to try and pray to grow more like HIM.🤗

Thank you so much for this helpful and encouraging video Marci 💜 I am in my first year as a SAHM (kiddos are 8 and 11), and it is hard sometimes. I feel like since I am home EVERYTHING should be perfect lol. And it never is. Thank you for letting us know that perfection is impossible. Ahhh… hearing that reminder makes me breathe a bit easier. I am SO very glad I found this video and your channel 😊

Wow!! Your video just popped up and it is my first time here. I feel that this video was created for me. Especially after having a terrible day of arguing with my husband which seems to be more often than not lately. Thank you Marci, it was a great video that I really enjoyed. When are your Pod casts shared? I think this might have been a divine intervention thing. Truly I do. God must of felt that I needed to hear you tonight.

I am often commenting on your fb, but watch your channel here too. How can we incorporate more femininity into homemaking? Gone are the days of women wearing dresses and fixing up like they did in the older says. We all wear jeans, t-shirts, pajamas, hair wraps etc in public now. Nothing at all against those that do, but I'm looking for some encouragement to put more effort into that side of things. I'm tired of being plain Jane. 💗

Hi Marci, I've been a subscriber for a while now, more than a year. I love this video in particular, and have listened to it over and over, along with a few other videos of yours I particularly liked. It's been quite a while since I've seen anything in my feed today, so I looked through my "homemaking" playlist, where I had saved these videos. I couldn't find them. I looked through my subscriptions, and your channel, along with several other Christian Women's ministries (none of my secular subs), had been removed from my subscriptions!! I had to look you up all over again... I'm wondering if maybe some of your other subscribers have experienced the same thing. It seems there's an attack on Christ-centred content, so keep up the good work and drawing souls to the Lord!
