Just to clarify. I finished filming this about 3-4 days ago on patch 1.12.2. So for those of you asking how I did this today, thank you for thinking I could pull all this off and do all that editing in a half day. Ive actually had the opposite happen to me. I was fighting Malenia and my final hit on phase 1 was a trade, so i watched the whole cutscene of her transforming, then immediately died. Interestingly enough, she said her phase 1 death quote as i fell over dead.

JUST to clarify, this run is no longer possible as the lightning perfume bottle with rolling sparks has been massively debuffed so that it only creates one hitbox when aimed at the ground. still very impressive run though and i can't wait for ur attempt without the perfume bottle

Just to clarify, DLC added so many buffs to the game that one shotting bosses at level 1 is now trivial. Rolling Sparks was just the braindead option. It's time for someone to do ng+7 one shots at level 1 now

Honestly that buff routine feels more like 60 minutes than 60 seconds when you are trying a boss over and over for hours

Yeah but it's one hit and no rolling around healing hp and fp I don't think that's amusing and I doubt the buff routine would be slower than actually fighting the boss. Stop repeating what 1000s of people always say

@@TheSwaylon It's definitionally slower. You don't get 40K+ damage with Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri. I believe he's aiming for 18 (possibly more) active buffs. Including proccing multiple status related buffs and hot swapping. He has an absolute maximum of 20 seconds (actually less) to seal the deal. (because if even one of his buffs runs out he's not getting the kill). If it matters he says it sometimes takes 60 seconds. Even allowing for hyperbole it certainly takes more than 20. And it certainly took longer to buff up than it did to kill Radahn. (Under 5 seconds from entering the fight). If you think I'm calling him unskilled, re-read the post you're responding to. He absolutely will not succeed without a flawless execution of a complex buffing strategy and he still has to evade the initial attack pattern and get the positioning just so.

I was wondering how could you use the Giant Crusher when the buffs displayed could only give 35 strength. It took me like 5 minutes to realise of the Grafted Greatsword skill which gave the 5 remaining points. Props for the video.

But 99% literally are.. If you actually pick up scadutree fragments, you can increase your damage by 200% and similarly decrease damage taken, most people weren't picking those up when DLC came out. Same with buffs, most people don't use them. So I stand completely behind that statement that most people were missing something, multiple things in fact, that would change their view completely on the difficulty of the dlc. Your notion that people didn't miss anything, and they are are scadutree blessing level 20, fully buffed with a good knowledge of the game, and still think the DLC is crazy difficult compared to base game, implies people are terrible at Elden Ring, I don't think this is the case at all. I think they are missing something that would make it a lot easier.

Note: the last patch buffed the charged R2 damage of all axes. Now on an 80/80 quality build (and likely any other build that's not str-arc occult) the Duelist Greataxe charge R2 outdamages the Giant Crusher.

Amazing.... Let me ask a question out of curiosity. Perfume is unintentionally doing double damage, which was fixed in a recent update (Regulation Ver. 1.12.4), but do you think it is still possible to one-shot all DLC bosses at level 1 in the current version?
