Or we can say the gap between our thoughts is the shiva (athma) and our body/thought are made of shakthi (intelligent energy). Stillness of thought or zero oscillation of thought or focus (called as dharana in sanskrit) is the first step which takes us to the next step called dhayana or meditation. Next step is prathyagara (to go beyond our 5 senses). Next step is samadhi (when we completely go beyond our 5 senses and thoughts (not even stillness of thought). Purpose of samadhi states is to get rid of past and future karma or cause and effect,

ஐயா எனக்கு சில வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு தியானம் செய்யும் போது ஒரு நாள் உள்ளங்கால் முதல் உச்ச தலைவரை மின்சாரம் பாய்ந்தது போல் உணர்ந்து கொண்டே இருந்தேன். அவ்வளவு எளிதில் நான் கண்ணீர் விடமாட்டேன். ஆனால் அன்று எல்லையற்ற மகிழ்ச்சியில் எனக்கு கண்ணீர் வந்தது. அந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை எப்படி சொல்வது என்றே தெரியவில்லை. அந்த ஒரு நாள் இப்படி நடந்த பிறகு பயந்து விட்டுவிட்டேன். இந்த நிகழ்வு பற்றி ஐயாவிடம் கேளுங்கள். நன்றி.

I realised few things tat u r telling. Its true especially our instinct shows lie person nd mind stability. I did meditation 3 yrs daily one hour i realised . after tat i leave 5 yrs but i felt my stability goes down... Ill start again..
