I think Carlos just wants to be included in what is going on in TK’s head to help him and create intimacy and trust. Carlos is definitely angry at missing out, and jealousy and walls can be created, with the feelings erupting and causing separation. TK has a hard enough time expressing how he feels, so while sometimes it is easier to express your intimate thoughts with a stranger, keeping those you love out of the dark can cause strain on a relationship. @@sirdavidoftor3413 I agree with you but, you must know that Carlos was not the person TK needed to speak to, Cooper was the exact person TK need to talk to because he has been in a similar situation like TK but with alcohol addiction instead of drugs. Carlos just doesn't understand this; he really wanted to be involved in TK's problems and solving them out however, what he did not realise, is that he cannot be the problem-solver in all of TK's diffculties; this was the only thing that Cooper might be able to help TK conquer and he might be the right person TK could look to for help. Carlos thinks TK can come to him whenever he can even though TK cannot since Carlos was not/has not faced a situation like TK's.

Yes, but TK does have a valid point.

The person who could help TK is not Carlos. Waking up Carlos wouldn’t have accomplished much but scare or upset Carlos because his words of support aren’t enough to help TK in that moment. Also if TK’s always depending on Carlos to talk through every difficult moment, then two things are more than likely to happen. 1- TK ends up completely dependent on Carlos to maintain his sobriety which means TK calling on Carlos at any time of the day or night to talk 2- Eventually Carlos will resent TK and get caregiver burn out. It’s healthier if TK talks to someone who knows what he’s been through and who as an outsider can give advice from a more objective point of view. It also wouldn’t do for Carlos to go to TK’s meetings because Carlos is an outsider. He really can’t understand the struggles of the people in this group. Also many people in the group wouldn’t feel comfortable with having an outsider just come to observe. M

This isn't about understanding men, it's about TK's struggles with addiction and Carlos's inability to properly understand those issues since he's never been there.

Definitely not. Did you even watch the episode? And since Tk OD’d due to his boyfriend at the time cheating on him I highly highly really highly doubt Tk would ever do that, let alone to Carlos.
