Maybe, based on the numbers of YT views and Spotify streams of V's SD and LMA which are less than JK's Seven and SNTY and LC of Jimin, solo stans of JK and JM may think like this. Completely forgetting the different types/style of music these three artists create. Taehyung's taste is totally different and he had the guts to not to follow trends and not to make music that sells. It was a very brave move to follow his heart , not everyone can take the tough path you know. If Hybe would have provided more support to Taehyung's work, it could have garnered more acclaim and praise. His mvs could go for Grammy's nominations of best videos but Hybe didn't promote and hence it didn't reach more audience. Anyway, If you remember the drive episode of Taehyung of "54" minutes, it got 22+ million views on YT(JK's got 13-14 million as second highest) and then compare this with his songs views and then his Suga's episode views, how can it be possible without an external intervention. Anyway, I feel it's a very long tough path ahead for all three of them as Solo artists if they have to compete globally with other global musicians. JK is one point ahead because of his initial global successes. I don't consider JM's LC as a global success ( Just my opinion) because it feels more like a streaming hunger from his die hard fans and hence it's able to cross 1B. Tae has to take extra efforts bcz of his taste of music and no/less support from HYBE. I hope that all the BTS members get their due successes as SOLO artists. I admit that I love Taehyung a bit more but I have huge respect for the Rap line's work and love for JK( probably a 1% less than Tae) and okay okay love for Jimin and Jin too. They all are good but they have a long way to go. As BTS they are unreachable but as Solo they have to show consistency in the quality of their music. Just my 2 cents. And my mind goes into a mess whenever I read things about HYBE BTS etc these days. We as international fans can respect BTS for whatever they did for their Country's economy and popularity but their own people can't?
