@@burlhorse61 the sickle cell struggle is real with a shortened life expectancy. I had a dear cousin who suffered from the disease. I'm so glad we still have her with us and pray for a long life for T Boz.

I’m petitioning for TLC to get a BET Lifetime Achievement today. They are still relevant. There hasn’t been a female group like them since they came out, and their style… still influential to this day. If you tell someone they’re giving TLC vibes, you know exactly what that means. This is the case because we’d be hard pressed to find a TLC or other Blaxk artists be recognized and celebrated like a country pop yt artist. I grew up in a Mexican household and I remember my mom always playing TLC cassettes although she didn’t know any English. This concert definitely brought back a lot of nostalgia. I’m a 90s kid and I feel music was wayyyy better than today. Thank you for TLC for being part of childhood/teenage years. RIP Lisa

It always warms my heart when I see young kids belting every word of a song that I adored growing up. Great songs are timeless. Also, Chilli and T-Boz are still killin it.

It used to seem like a summer couldn't go by w/o this song being heard on the radio or MTV or something. Whoever booked TLC this year should get a lifetime achievement award, & I need to listen to the contemporary R & B radio station on the weekends more often.

I've hit up college radio twice, but it's only been rock & punk & pop. Although, Joan Jett live from a 198? local performance hit me up there. At least one jazz, idk what now. I'm being very patient with college radio about Motown & Soul. My experience w this is that rewards for patience brings great glory, at least musicologically. Like, unbelievable, when it's amazing.

To some of these people, “hasn’t aged a day “= “slim”. Hence reason why they don’t mention anything about T-Boz looking good for her age. I think she was looking great considering what she’s been going through more than half her life with her sickle cell anemia. I actually don’t think she’s age that much in the face.

I still love them but it's so hard to watch this without Left Eye. I was a huge fan growing up so it was sad when she passed. One thing I will say is that T-Boz and Chilli haven't missed a beat, they are still just as amazing as when this song came out and I am glad they didn't have someone else come in and do Left Eye's part and they played the recording of her.

To see TLC almost 30 years later (and yes I grew up in the 80s to late 90s listening to Jodeci, Hi-Five, Jade, etc.) brings back nothing but nostalgia. And T- boz and Chilli are beautiful as ever. TLC’s music will always keep me jamming ❤️ RIP and love always to Left Eye🙌🏽

was also there - the performance was pretty phony tbh. loads of vocals on track (not just left-eye), a dj/hype man who just played random songs (not TLC), a large break in their set for no apparent reason (where the dj just did more annoying hype shit) and not enough hits to sustain a full set.

At 03:16 when Chilli looks at T -Boz and winks with her eye it really made me crying. You can see they have been through so much, having a manager that screwed them up and then the death of Left Eye. TLC for me definitely the best Female Group of all time

Aww man I cried when Lisas rap started playing. I'm sure T-Boz and Chilli got a lot going on in there head when her part comes on. Glad they can get thru it and hold it together to be able to keep performing. They did amazing all these years later❤❤❤
