I feel like it's canon that Drew has serious attachment issues, but since he lost people he loved (Jake, Zoey, etc), he tries to push others away so he doesnt get attached to them, which also means he wont go through the pain when that person leaves him. It explains why Drew is always so cold to everyone because he's just afraid to go through the same pain he went through with Jake or Zoey when they ditched/cheated on him.

@@Mawykyuyh but after a while of being in the club, Jake should’ve realised that Drew was gonna support him anyway. Although he wanted Jake to leave the club, he never actually mocked Jake for wanting to sing for Daisy. His biggest problem was that Jake was spending all his time there.

I understand where Drew is coming from, I Kin him. But the thing is I’m imagining right now all the pressure inside of Jake’s head, imagine having to first think of school in general, having to choose between friends because with both actions there will be consequences.
