I’ve seen you guys perform a couple of times in my life. Although, Mr. Beverly’s voice want what it used to be, the band was and it didn’t matter if we understood him or not. The band was on point. It was the expressions from Vance when he hit a note or Jubu playing the guitar like only he can. Can’t forget about Bear and the rest of the crew. I hate the breakup but I’m 100% behind TMF! Love you guys brother and look forward to seeing you all perform in the future with Chris as your lead singer.❤

After 20 plus years, that was a family. Even though they were not the original band, they built something special and added their special touch to it. That was their DNA just listen to Golden Time of Day and listen to Jubu. Unreal response and that was all Jubu.

No one has spoken or given him honor where honor was due. He was a hard worker for the company with no respect given after his death. Shame! Great job, Frankie and Maze, are the GOAT. I have seen Maze in concert 7 times in concert and are the best. Frankie, was an excellent singer but it is time for him to relax and take it easy and enjoy all the great music he and Maze, made for us.

I put my inspiration close on. I grabbed my black beauty which is my good time. And I turn on Maze Free to frankly Beverly and this music from the organization. I was shocked to learn of the departure of the former band from Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. Although we wish Frankie well with the new band members as he cements his retirement, it is heart breaking that the band members who stood with Frankie for so many years will not be the ones to see him off to enjoy his new life. I got the breakup part. TMF - Too Mother Freaking Confusing. I still need clarity on who owns the songs and whether there will be 2 groups singing Frankie's songs. I wish you all the best I guess.

The truth is, some elements of a band are irreplaceable and others are not. With the exception of Roame, none of the members of TMF were anywhere in the picture when MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly became an established band with a catalog of hits. MAZE was already a phenomenon long, long before the current players in TMF became members, and had NOTHING to do with CREATING this catalog or its recording, so these claims of carrying the same “DNA” are not holding up in my opinion. Without Frankie, with all do respect to Roame, it’s not MAZE, but essentially a tribute band, let’s just keep it real and enjoy the music.

I am gonna make a statement but it’s not against anyone in particular. It’s what wasn’t clearly stated that bothers me. First of all, I have seen the group many times whenever near Baltimore Maryland. Never a bad show. NOW the one thing I heard but you never elaborated on nor go into detail about it was “We went to new management and ask for more money for shows” I wish TMF the best and I will support!!

Frankie Beverley owns the songs, the band didn't write or produce the music, they just played the instruments. A few years ago there was a interview Frankie did explaining the songs and the group. TMF can continue to play and sing the songs. Same think happen to Lake Side. The split and both groups sing the songs. But the songs belong to the artist.

This band still sound great! I've seen Frankie Beverly and Maze four times in concert and all were excellent shows. I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with this band continuing on with a new lead singer, he know that he's not Frankie Beverly nor should he try to be. He has a nice voice and hes doing a fantastic job. Hell I've always said the Jacksons should have replaced Michael when he went solo. Find someone that has a good voice that could sing the songs but dont make the mistake of trying to be Michael and they wouldve been fine. Thanks TMF for continuing to carry the torch.
