I went from having a lot of friends to practically being alone. Unfortunately after a big falling out, I isolated myself because everyone turned nasty and anxiety kicked in. I wanna have friends but also get extremely anxious around people as I think too much about what they think of me

I’ve never related to a comment so much! It’s so hard in a work setting as well, because I try so hard to push through the anxiety but sometimes I have days where I can’t speak at all. It’s hard when you see people gravitating towards each other but you’re just on the outskirts. I guess me putting up a barrier to protect myself from judgement, pushes people away further 🥴

I am a hyper-sensitive person (HSP) and have been told all my life that my sensitivity makes me weak. As a child I bottled everything up and became angry and aggressive. Seeing you be so open about your emotions helped me heal along the way. There are so many ways to see the world, and being sensitive gives you the ability to see it with more depth and breadth than anyone can imagine; an image of life no one else can see. I think all sensitive people spend their lives alone, but leave lasting effects on everyone they encounter. Keep being who you are unapologetically ❤

I relate so badly to what you’ve mentioned about friendships ♥️ thank you for being so open about this because I don’t feel like enough people speak about it. Maybe it’s rare but it’s so nice to hear that other people could be feeling the same way, especially in adult life.

Catching up on your videos and I feel exactly the same about friends. My friends are a lot closer to other people than me. I never feel that close to them and spend most of my time alone or with my family and always have. Love you Imogen been watching you for years 🩶🫂

Literally just started tearing up when you spoke about your parents not having as much money as you hoped they did when they were younger and them using their money to pay for your school. I can relate to this so much but the past can't be changed and you have to just remember that 1) it's not your fault so you do not need to feel guilty at all and 2) they are in a better place now, so you can be happy. I totally feel the same though, I never saw myself or my family as 'poor' when I was young but there were always struggles with money and they paid a lot for me and my sister to go on school trips / have experiences. They got divorced when I was in year 9/10. when I look back now it makes me so sad because I wish they kept all their money for themselves and did nice things together :( I think this video was great like a little storytime therapy session - pls make this a weekly or monthly thing I know your fanbase will really relate to everything you're sharing with us

You literally described me as a person to a T and I’ve been diagnosed with adhd, for me it explains so much. Btw I’m in no way diagnosing or suggesting you have anything, just that I get you ❤

I have ADHD and I’m 24 I got diagnosed in year 2 but as a woman now my ADHD presents so differently from a child, I have thought you have had ADHD for a while now, I’m not diagnosing you by any means but it may help you to understand yourself a little more 💕

I'd love you to talk about the first one in more detail plz - it really reminds me of myself! I feel EXACTLY the same - when I'm with people I'm chatty and friendly, love speaking to people when I'm with them and literally polite to random people like members of the public crossing past in the street / an elderly lady in a shop I'll always smile! I actually don't have many friends, I have a few but I don't see them often and they all have other 'units' etc, exactly like what you said! and I'm closer to my partner. I feel like everyone else I notice goes out every week with their friends, and I just don't have that. I'm also really overly sensitive like small things will make me tear up / be sad easily or worry, and I feel like the few friends I have just aren't like that and I always wonder is anyone else like this or just me! You are an excellent role model Imogen, please keep being you because all of these things are your strengths - you are now posting a video like this is which is going to help and reassure SO many other young people, so you should be really proud of what you do and who you are. xxx

There is something I'd really like you to talk about more please bc I feel like you will have really good advice on this. The exact same happened with me - my parents had a messy divorce, they both suffer/suffered with mental health problems, and this really destroyed my relationship with them both at times. How do you make sure that you don't allow this hurt from your childhood (heartbreak/trauma after their divorce) to affect your own relationship and your hopes and dreams for the future? xx I literally look around and if I see a happy family or a mum and daughter who look close etc, it just makes me emotional/get tears in my eyes because I am deep down hurt still and think "that could've been my family :( why did it have to change", so I would be so grateful if you could answer this or share some advice, thank you Imogen xxx

Would love to know your thoughts on infidelity and whether you believe in second chances if the partner is willing to work on themselves especially when children are involved. You seem very forgiving and understanding that people make bad choices.

Hi Imogen. At the start of this video, you referred to G Flip as a girl and called them ‘she’. You’ve misgendered them as they are non binary and should be referred to as they/them. Wanted to bring this to your attention as it’s a serious subject. I’m sure you meant no harm but is ignorant x
