Lei's ending has chill music, Mokujin's ending is hilarious, Paul's too. Hwoarang's establishes his rivalry with Jin, Heihachi keeping the family tradition, etc. Overall Tekken 3 had great endings and even more impressive graphics for 1997

Not only their rivalry but also a running gag of getting each other out of dangerous situations involving armed officials by kicking their asses. It started in T3 with Hwo's ending and was done again recently in T7. Which resulted in Hwo losing his eye.

I like that in kings ending, the reason he was so worried about armour king is probably because he knows his master is sick like we saw in AKs tekken 2 ending, but in the end he finds him seemingly mourning the loss of his friend, which I imagine was because he saw King II win the belt

Anna's real ending was censored outside of Japan in which Nina ripped off Anna's bikini top in front of the guys leaving her embarrassed and scrambling to cover herself. Ending with Nina walking away waving Anna's top at the camera. Classic. I grew up playing the JP version so for years I had no idea it was altered. It was tame and more comical in comparison to her T2 ending (which, ironically, wasn't censored in the West). It was silly of them to censor it.

For gunjack there are 2 endings, the one you saw in the video, which is the bad ending, and the good ending where the same thing happens, but gunjack creates a forcefield and survives with the girl, to get the good ending in tekken 3 you had to beat the game with jack twice, they forgot to put in the good ending in tekken 7.

Now to look forward to the endings of Tekken 4. The English voice acting is questionable, of course, but you could not get any better than Tekken 4 in terms of endings that had a perfect balance between seriousness and comedy relief.

4:52 yeah that part is in, but you had fufill certain conditions in arcade mode with Gun Jack to get it. (I think it was like, finish the last couple of fights with only a little bit of health)

i like how they really tried to make every character look unique, a big upgrade to for example T1 and they have this kinda realism, i feel that most characters since T5 until now suffer from same face syndrome

Is that really the correct and full conclusion for the King ending? In the Tekken 2 ending of armor king, he was shown to be in a "dire" situation health wise. He didn't die due to his health problems (since marduk killed him before that could happen), but knowing that there was something wrong with him explains why King (the 2nd) was running looking for him after he finished his fight. You wouldn't do that if someone simply leaves - that is just disappointing. But you would do that if you had the suspicion that he might be in the process of dying because you are aware for his health problems. At least that's how I understood that ending.

plot twist It was the illness that killed Armor Kimg at the Bar and not Marduk. They just happen to be in the same area when he died and probably were in a bar fight when that happened. But that's just my theory.

@@totalymew YES! He confirmed the kill in T6. What I believe people forgot about Marduk, was that he was such a beast Val Tudo fighter that he started taking on opponents in DIFFERENT fighting styles to beat them too. He was insane with power back then and fighting and almost killing all of the toughest opponents of those fighting styles. He eventually entered the wrestling realm and one of his targets was Armor King, as he was a well-renowned luchador as well as King, his apprentice. However, he was really only able to "kill" him because of A.K.'s deteriorating health. Then used his death to lure out King and do the same to him. If A.K. was in 100% good condition, that fight would have ended differently. Which is evident because King beat that ass proper in T4. He was going to finish him off in the hospital but he relented because he saw Marduk's family photo, which reminded him that Marduk isn't a monster to everyone and that he's better than him by NOT taking out swift justice on him for what he's done. However, this loss provoked Marduk further and he called out King to a "rematch" in T5. Where King promptly rinsed and repeated what he did to him last time. Only this time, the ass beating got to Marduk. Marduk accepted his defeat (Which would make it 2-0 King V. Marduk like a real set in the fgc) and they reconciled. Becoming friends in life and partners in the ring. T5DR A.K. returns but is revealed in T6 to be A.K.'s younger brother who was already on his way to taking his bro's place as A.K. prior to his death. Unlike King, A.K. plans to deal out that sweet swift revenge justice on Marduk for his brother's untimely demise at his hands. Even if it means taking King out to do it. WELL this sounds cool and all, but all that and everyone else's arcs were thrown completely in the trash in T7. So who knows now?

Well, it's all but stated he was a piece of shit even before he became a cyborg. In his backstory, like Bruce, he was a partner of Lei's in Interpol, but he was in with drug dealers who eventually murdered him, which is how we get to what he is in the current story.

Tekken 3 was such a classic. First Tekken I really got into. I would constantly watch these endings a lot after I unlocked theater mode. They were very high quality for their time.

Looking back now it was so risky that Namco killed off so many Tekken 2 characters for this game. But I’m glad that they were able to create even more classic characters like Bryan and Jin that we still have in the games now. It feeling like 20-25 years had really passed in the story really made the game engaging for fans of the series... It was so cool that Jin had moves from both Kazuya and Jun, Hwoarang was Baek taken further, and Ogre had a lot of the unlockable T2 characters moves. Xiaoyu and Eddy were also first seen in T3! The developers of this game are really geniuses!

4:35 So the interesting thing about this ending is that the one you get in Tekken 7 is Jack's bad ending. In Tekken 3, he had that ending, as well as a second ending, that would unlock when playing through Jack's arcade ladder one more time, where Jack puts up a forcefield to avoid Abel's blast. This is considered the good ending. So in Tekken 7, they only included one of the endings. Weeeird choice though, both back then to split it up into two different endings with different outcomes, as well as today, by only including the bad ending lmfao.

Julia's ending is not contradictory because Michelle taught her not to fight unnecessarily, but in order to defend herself and other living things, and to only use violence as a last resort.

Is it just me, or does Heihachi look sort of... regretful, when he throws Jin out of the helicopter? Like, you get the impression that, if it wasn't for the Devil Gene, he might have tried to accept him as family, even though he was Kazuya's kid. I dunno, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that's why I like these dialogue-less endings, they make you think.

You’re forgetting that Kazuya’s prologue in Tekken 4 states that he was revived by G Corporation a few days later, meaning that his revival already took place between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3.

Correct me if I'm wrong since it's been a while. I think the armor king. King saw was Marduk wearing armor king's clothes since armor king never took off his mask. I just thought that this ending of king in Tekken 3 jumps time to time from when king fights where armor king is always at his side watching him grow stronger and stronger to the point where he surpassed the original king and his teacher armor king.until the day he became champion and noticed that armor king is gone to fight his last match against Marduk which then killed. King rushed to armor king's room only to find Marduk wearing his master's armor or something like that.

Yoshi as much as I want it to be, Disgaea wasn't a thing at the time. Tekken 3 was made in 1997, Disgaea was made in 2003. Though Disgaea is known for making comedic references to various games, anime, and movies so maybe it was Disgaea that made a Tekken 3 reference.

There's more to Anna's and Gun Jack's endings. Heihachi threw Jin off the helicopter because of his Devil Gene. In Jin's ending he does save Heihachi. I think it's his way of going against the Mishima tradition.

Tekken 3 endings were great indeed. Some of them were cringey but whatever 😂 PS: Anna's ending in the gallery is the sensored version. In the unsensored one, one of the boys undoes the top of her swimming suit, after which she follows them. That's the version I have. Apparently, Japanese are less conservative when it comes to this kind of thing. Well considering the type of animes they make, that's not surprising lmao.

In my opinion jin definitely wants to hit heihachi because he’s now Devil Jin and he wants immediate revenge on him. Furthermore it has now became a wellknown Tekken attack (heaven’s gate)
