The one true Shredder. No alien or ninja-magic crap to cheapen him, just one evil man able to command respect from an entire room by simply walking into it, and is still capable enough on his own strength to fight four opponents with barely a single scratch. Even the way he went out is powerful. Just like Raph was warned about in the film's beginning, he let his anger blind him upon recognizing Splinter and it resulted in his death.
@Lemuel928 Жыл бұрын
Technically,Alien Shredder was eventually the closer Shredder than any other lesser Shredder.

Ch'rell is my favorite Shredder. He was the most evil one, was only comedic once or twice. "And you were very naughty Stockman, betrayed me once too often, you should've quit while you were... a head." But my second favorite is Tengu Shredder, he was once human but became a demon. I do like 90s movie Shredder too, and Super Shredder. Super Shredder was wasted potential, Turtles III should've been about stopping him. Killing him off at the end of the second film was just retarded. Like, why did they do that? Did they think a third film wasn't going to be made?

The thing I loved about the original TMNT movie was that they didn't pander it to kids. They just said f-it. You want turtles? Well strap yourself in kid, we ain't pulling any punches with this one. Shredder is going to kick all your TMNT friends asses, beat shredder to within an inch of his life... crime, thefts, drug use... this is the real shit. These days they don't make movies like this for kids. They did a proper intro for Shredder. He was a f'ing badass in this movie.

Yeah, this wasn't really a "kids movie," more like a film for adults that kids could watch. From what I understand, parents complained, so they made the sequels into kids movies. I really wish they had continued on with the theme of how they did this one though, this one is to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the way that Christopher Nolan's Batman films are to Batman.

I don't know why, but every time I hear that piece of dialogue with the music it sorta clicks with me. Casey barely knew the turtles or April at the time but guy's willing to stall an entire faction of highly trained Ninjas just to get them out of a burning building. Very few comic movies show that kind of chivalry in a few seconds.

Casey also knew the Turtles were just like him. He'd been fighting the Foot for ages on the streets, and knew the Foot were the same P. O. S punks he was able to beat up. Still, against those numbers, it very was brave of him because he knew he'd probably get his ass kicked just like Raph.

Love the roller coaster of emotions this song provokes, each part has such a unique vibe and sound to it. The intro when Shredder walks out for the first time, his intimidating silhouette, then the 2nd part which is just kind of menacing and mysterious used in the intro of the movie and a number of other scenes, then the epic battle music from the apartment and final battle. I remembered this movie having epic music. But this exceeded my expectations. Thanks for sharing!

The Shredder and his Foot Clan seemed so real in this movie. They were basically a cult exploiting disaffected youth, it was such a plausible premise.

I always loved the drummer for the whole movie soundtrack...he's so crisp and clear in his playing....examples...#1..when michaelangelo twirls his numchucks to the footsoldier in april's apartment the drummer has like a jazzy latin beat goin on........#2...when the turtles are with casey jones and its raining and they go inside the sewer and they park the pickup truck......#3 when the turtles are practicing ninjitsu with one another in the white farm house that I think it's Rafael that's wearing a cowboy hat....#4 in this video at 2:06 you see how he starts building up and playing a badass beat at 2:16... #5 the music at 2:45 when the turtles fight shredder...man that drummer is outstanding!!!! I love his style of playing...I wonder who he is????......like if you agree with me...thanks guys

As a manager this should be my theme as I enter the store when I promote someone. “Money cannot buy the honor of which you have earned tonight in making team leader…….you make us all proud”

I'm 40 now. I have the original vinyl movie soundtrack. Don't seen the new age meatbag CGI TMNT movies. Kids, please; this is an old handmade costume suits, a real villain who wants to kill the four turtles with hand weapons. This is the real TMNT, little babies.

This shredder was not a bumbling oaf like in the 87 cartoon. He was serious and menacing.

I have this on CD after growing up listening to it on repeat on a casette tape. One of my all time favourite pieces of cinema score. Maybe it is just nostalgia but shit, they dont make movies like this any more. Epic.

those epic times.. when shredder whas an this man with autorithy.. japanese drumms.. no dubstep remix no rap no shit.. just good old japanese drums.. this was really good choosen .. background story.. supporting the japanese origins from oroku saki wich killed hamato yoshi... (talking about the movie not the comic) this was and still is very awesome.. suspense and "shit in your pants" music.... 80-90 when ninjas were totaly "IN" everyone wanted to learn martial arts..
