I could never get over that Serling wasn't there. Not even a comment saying that Cody came back for him, he was just missing. Also given that Ch'rell was invading Earth with a robot & mutant army, I am surprised they didn't think to include Bishop.

In the uncut version of the movie Karai begs Shreder to stop from killing og Turtles that she doesn't want to lose him again and he actualy hesitated and almost didn't do it it also shows him getting erased with 2003 Turtles

I love how I have seen this film so many times yet I have just notice that while Ch'rell is doing his speech in the scanner (39:58), they play the fight music from Exodus Part 1 (When Hun attacks the Turtles & Splinter, Karai attacks the EPF and Bishop attacks the Foot Elite).

I think why Karai helped Shreder is cuz while she is done figthing with Turtles she will still help Him as long as isn't something to bad or that she has to figth Turtles

Fun Fact:Ch`rell had a cameo in his ice prison in the Original Mirage Comics when Donnie was reminiscing on all the friends and foes the Turtles had encountered.Of course,for obvious reasons that version of Ch`rell wasn`t the Shredder nor was he even named directly and whether he was a good Utrom or an evil one was unclear although his exile status and imprisonment as well as his other versions would definitely point towards the latter.

This film proved without a doubt that the Utrom shredder was the most dangerous version ever

The `80s Turtles were not voiced by the `03 cast, they were voiced by other 4Kids talent `cause the originals were union and 4Kids back then was still non-union.They became unionized in LA and New York around the late 2000s-early 2010s.

I recommend you watch the first 5 episodes of the 87 series. The plot is chronological and the tone is more serious. the goofiness is there but balanced way better. Season 2 is pretty good too...season 3 is where stuff starts getting super silly. The way the 80s show is presented in tmnt forever is basically an exaggerated version of season 3 and onwards. Also, the 80s turtles are not like in turtles forever personality wise. They are more humorostic than their 2003 counterparts sure ...but raphael is cocky and sarcastic, mickey is a fun loving airhead etc... And they knew when it was time to take a situation seriously. So yeah, take turtles forever with a grain of salt.

I think the problem a lot of these crossovers have honestly is when you are adapting a major event comic to TV or film,there are certain differences in budgetary constraints,copyright embargos, licensing rights and other factors that have to be taken into account I find a lot of casual fans and critics online don`t!

This movie was a big fuck you to 87 fans since they demanded(even send death threats) for 2003 to be more comedic(Season 6) which ended up canceling the show

This movie was the first thing I've saw when it came to the 2003 series. I thought the show was going to be bad because of how this movie portrayed the 1987 and 2003 series perspectively. Once I saw the actual show for the 2003 series, I realized it was a very underrated series. I wish people treated these turtles with respect. In this movie, the 2003 turtles were quite rude to the 1987 turtles in different ways. 2003 Raph in particular in this movie is what hesitated me from watching the 2003 show at first because I thought he was a bigger bully and jerk than the 2012 Raph because of how disrespectful he treated the 1987 turtles. When I finally did decide to watch the series, I realized it was far from the truth (He is just a typical brash and strong willed New Yorker with the biggest heart.) The other three 2003 turtles were no better. Although Mikey said the 1987 turtles were cool to Raph, these three turtles mostly let Raph shove the 1987 turtles around. The other three including Don, even Mikey (who eventually got annoyed with the 1987 turtles after too many noogies), would make comments, belittle them, get annoyed with them. Despite a few nice moments such as Raph comforting the 1987 turtles when they were sobbing or saving them, or Leo saying "We're more than allies. We're brothers", mostly none of them were the most helpful. Even the 2012 Turtles were more helpful and respectful to them than they were. It's not just that, this movie made a huge mockery of the 1987 Turtles and their allies in their world. It was so over exaggerated. Yes the actual show was light hearted and more comedic in seasons 1-7 especially in season 3-5 when they used slapstick due to censors in the 80's and 90's (Seasons 1-2, and 6-7 there's more action and seasons 8-10 is darker). However the 1987 Turtles are actually more capable fighters and they are mature and serious when they need to be. If they do goof off, they're typical teenagers. They're not stupid fools. The turtles became known in season 3 but they still wear costumes like they always do when they're not fighting. Michelangelo is actually a little more mature than his counterpart. April is not just a damsel, she is their best friend and she has helped them out too. The turtles save April when they need to be and not as a scheduled routine sort of speak, despite the fact they all knew they were on TV. Leonardo is just as serious as his counterpart especially as leader. In fact, Leonardo would stop this himself without any prompt. In the movie, the 1987 turtles were seen laughing at Raphael's jokes but in the actual show, they don't think Raphael's jokes is funny. What really angered me was how stupid Donatello was portrayed to be. is ever more studious than he was portrayed in this movie. I mean he knows what a damn wrench is, how to fix things without tying wires up. He is also the second in command. I mean Donatello just as hard working as his counterpart. Raphael did have a few hot headed moments in season 7 such as saying he was gonna rip Vernon's neck in Dirk Savage Mutant Hunter, but not as bad his incarnation, but that one hot head moment would do the 2003 Raph proud there. Last but certainly not least, the 1987 turtles don't give noogies. Although this movie had flaws, there are so good. The 1987 villains of the show was very accurately portrayed. The Splinters were also very accurately portrayed. 1987 Raphael's fourth wall breaking is accurate. My favorite part of the movie is Raph and Leo bonding with the 1987 Splinter and having rice. The Mirage Comic turtles was the original inspiration for the 2003 series since it's based on it. However I do wish the 2003 series did focus on their Mirage comics counter parts even more (I also wished the animated series was more TV-14 leveled instead of TV-Y7/TV-G leveled)

Ch`rell also appeared in the IDW Comics where he was a rogue Utrom Colonel who took over General Krang`s militant rogue Utrom faction after the Turtles,April,Professor Honeycutt,Splinter,Casey et al defeated Krang(Krang was more bloodthirsty than his animated counterpart whereas Ch`rell was slightly less so,still ruthless as fuck however and intolerant of 'inferior species' like the Triceratons,Fugitoids,humans and Turtles and 'traitors',real and imagined.)

(´・ω・`) I'm so sorry I wrote a very, very long comment. Please forgive me... I'm more of a 2003 Turtles fan, but I think the voices for the 80s characters are hit and miss. Raph and Donnie sound decent, but I get the feeling that Leo doesn't sound anything like his original voice. Yes, I agree that this movie "shits on the 80s Turtles" a bit (as you pointed out), which is mostly a problem with the writing/dialogue than anything else. Then again, the 2003 Turtles were a creation of Mirage Studios and Peter Laird, so I'm not too surprised by it either. "Aaaand, they died." Hopefully, Hun's massive body will leave a big enough cavity for the rest of the gang to survive! (lol) I wouldn't say that the 80s Turtles all have the same personality, quite as much as I'd say they all use the same tactics (such as using random objects to throw at people or saying corny one-liners). This movie probably made the 80s Turtles look much more silly than usual, but the 80s show itself was definitely a very silly kids cartoon. I know it seems weird for Karai to be here since she was at the wedding, but the wedding episode was poorly written since they completely overlooked the fact that Karai and Shredder would have interacted with each other in any other situation. If anything, what we're seeing in this movie is more normal for Karai by comparison. Yes, the Turtles were the last (living) thing Hun touched, so he turned into one. I love it when 2003 Don gets confused by 80s April's yellow jumpsuit, lol. There's just something so haunting about that scene where the whole world disappears, even though I know it's also poking fun at the fact that it's a drawn cartoon. 2003 Raph trying to save face in front of the comic Turtles, lol. I know you're not a fan of the way the comic Turtles look, but they mainly look that way only in the 1st issue of the comics. They look quite different in all the other issues, especially if there's a different artist drawing them. The uncut version did explain Karai's reasoning for helping the Turtles. As the Shredder was crushing the comic Turtles, the "erased" part of the world eventually reached him. He felt pain and was confused as to what was happening. That's when Karai begged him to stop, because she didn't want to lose her father again. (Maybe she knew his over-obsession with the Turtles would be his downfall.) He was in deep thought for a few moments, and decided to commit suicide (just 'cuz he hates the Turtles that much) and resumed crushing the comic Turtles. I probably won't see your Transformers videos (since I don't like watching reactions to shows I haven't seen), but I'll be looking out for any shows that I have seen before. Anyways, great reaction as always, and I really enjoyed your TMNT 2003 video series!

Yeah, this movie isn't the best, but I thought it was cute nonetheless. I have seen the 80s turtles a bit, and I can't say if they are too out of character or even in character in this movie. The older series felt like there was a solid character for each turtle but it may change a little for the specific episode. Still wished that this movie showed their positive traits a bit more than constantly knocking on it. Like,I thought the 80s Shredder was hilarious. Less annoying as he's portrayed as in this movie. But I enjoyed this movie either way. XP I don't know if you already know about this. But I remember that you kept bringing up that Silver Sentry was like Superman and Nobody was like Batman. There is a Batman VS TMNT movie. And it is one of my favorites!!! ^^ A nice mixture of the old and new.
