For the longest time, because of the low sound quality of the voice samples, I thought they shouting "Aie.oh!" Aie-oh!". It wasn't until I saw a playthrough of the arcade version that I realized that they said "My toes! My toes!".

I think the SNES synth engine can only handle one sample per song, but it can be played chromatically. Everything else is FM synthesis. Six synth parts, plus the sample, that's what you get to play with and who ever composed this soundtrack just keeps turning out bangers.

Such good memories of being a kid playing this in the 90s. I remember my parents watching me play this just because they thought the music was catchy lol. But I did also watch the TMNT show in the late 80s and have some action toys. Funny when your mom plops down to watch you play video games haha. But....I do that with my daughter too🤷‍♂️

This is one of those games where the OST gets used again and again year over year by people. The 90's were really something else man with the quality of limited tech. they had to work with and yet create something that lasts and never rusts.

Ragemaster yes they are. In the level which this song takes place, there are floating spike orbs in the water which when you hit with your hoverboard whichever character you are playing as will jump up and down repeatedly screaming " My Toe, my toe"
