Vince - How did you get your device? T-Mobile has stopped sending these devices.

Aparajith KV They haven’t they just have to see if you “qualify” I guess depending on where you live you may not be eligible for one.

It’s a signal booster. What did you expect?

Just so you know..... you are broadcasting your home internet to everyone around you and knowing most if not all homes in the US mainland are wood so your signal is far beyond your home. My advice would be to add traffic shaping to that device and cap it at 10 down and 2 up given you have far greater speeds.....

Andres Nunez how do u add traffic?
@gtr35856 жыл бұрын
Randy Johnson traffic shaping... you would need either a managed switch or a router with this capacity.

Andres Nunez I'm running the cell tower through a Asus router. So what would the traffic shaping feature be called on the router so I can search KZfaq to see how I can turn it on and set it up.

Andres, sort of. He isn't directly broadcasting Wi-Fi internet from this unit, only a T-Mobile cellular signal.

@@wb6vpm ; Yeah .... This device really isn't a cellular booster, but a "femtocell." Which means it's like a tiny cell site in your home and the customer's internet connection functions as the site "backhaul" over the internet to the mobile exchange (MTSO). This means you're effectively sharing your internet connection bandwidth with you, your family, and any T-Mobile customer in the near vicinity for phone calls, texting, and data. Now that's no big deal with those that have high speed broadband like me with fiber internet service (AT&T Fiber 1000/1000). But still wouldn't like the idea of sharing my internet connection with strangers ...

What if you do not have wifi in your home?
@Claroboy9115 жыл бұрын
Then you cant get this. You would have to get the Signal Booster instead. I didnt have a good experience with the booster and ended up getting the Cellspot

The only light on is my power light it's been blinking an hour.no other lights are on what's the problem?
@BobbyPhoenix5 жыл бұрын
If I understand you correctly you are saying only the Power is blinking green, and all others are solid green (or are no other lights on at all)? I'm having the same thing happen, but it's only been about two hours for me right now. Did the Power finally go solid green? If so how long did it take?

Timing sync wouldn't have happened...if gps cable is given..then it should be faster..or else it depends on the back haul..
