Coming back to this over and over. This is what the Model D was made for. A true funk in its rawest form. Gotta love it!👍👍Need to learn those funky chops mate like it´s coming right off the early eighties funky era! Simply Brilliant.

thanks, yes, that was also the reason why I made this video. I couldn't stand the fact that the Model D was always shown as a squeaky noise machine 😉

Yeeeaah, finally someone here in on KZfaq who really show us what this amazing synth can do. Hate those blip blop synth people who just marking clips with Kraftwerk sounds and arpeggios all over the place.. Thanks for showing us the potential funky beast this is.. gonna buy it and hopefully I will create those David Foster 80s basses (see “Whatever we imagine” by late James Ingram) that has so much soul and emotional power in itself.

Thee only guy showing you how funky the Behringer model d sounds. Perfect, sounds identical to moog with a blind fold on! Funky😎

One of the best synth funk bass videos on KZfaq. Classic sound from the Boog, and your grasp of the 80s funk synth bass rythm and melody is insane! Thank you

Best video I've seen on the Model D, super awesome! I noticed a few people in the comments ask for a patch sheet, it's a little hard for me to make out all the knobs even with a screenshot. By chance do you have any patch sheets for sale like the sounds you created here? Thank you!

Very nice, I like these bass sounds. 2:30 The Behringer Model D must have at least 90% Minimoog authenticity. Behringer FTW! *\O/*

I'm buying one of these very soon..I love this sound ,this is one of the reasons I'm buying it. One thing sir ,what's is tuning on the synthesizer for this sound?
@GeneInCorona6 жыл бұрын
This is SO dope! This is the sound I tried to program on my Sub 37 and Voyager E.B.! Close but no go. I did get close with my (K)Arp Odyssey MK3 but I'm glad I ordered some Behringer D's to get that MiniMoog D funk bass sound. By the way, how do you like your MPC X? I was thinking about the MPC Live for portability but are the MPC X's larger screen and extra controls worth the extra $$? Keep those old school funk vids coming! IMHO Roger/Zapp/Bootsy/George Clinton would be so proud... :)
@timbrettschneider27446 жыл бұрын
Gene Sacma Thank you for the nice words. the BEHRINGER Model d is really incredible. I have the MPC live which i like more than the X(regardless of the price). the display is big enough. Soon I will do some new FUNKY videos. 😉

Hey - What should be my 'go to' synth for Billy Preston kinda' lead lines?
@richardspitzer49163 жыл бұрын
How'd you get the kingkorg to trigger vibrato like that?
@AllenMichael5 жыл бұрын
Quick question. Did you sample the linn and play the samples in the mpc? Or did you just prg the linn via midi from mpc?
@timbrettschneider27445 жыл бұрын
Hi Allan, yes these are samples that I have made for the MPC.
@AllenMichael5 жыл бұрын
@@timbrettschneider2744 I love that you can sample with this thing but having it for the past few days the MPC live is annoying. I cannot input multiple midi channels, the user interface is extremely difficult to navigate, Ive had the MPC hold my midi notes from my external synth, and recently after playing a sequencer for about 5 minutes it randomly transposed my sequence! Good bye MPC live (newest update) its a great idea, if only it wasnt buggy.
@AurelienVeryАй бұрын
hello could you give us the patch?
@johnmichel89076 жыл бұрын
How you manage the lfo? with a pedal?
@triggerwarning57623 жыл бұрын
Mod wheel on the keyboard will control the intensity of the lfo.
@AllenMichael5 жыл бұрын
Are you using the MPC to sequence everything? For example... you create a sequence on the MPC to trigger the linn via midi?
@timbrettschneider27445 жыл бұрын
Allen Michael .......Yes, in my analogue setup (it’s more fun)
@AllenMichael5 жыл бұрын
@@timbrettschneider2744 Nice. Ive been using protools as a sequencer but I Dont like having to click things... I just would like to record sequences and then assemble into a song. Wondering if the new mpc live could do that
