My best tip for lace is to put a stitch marker in between each of the repeats. That way when you screw up you can determine where it happened easily. Knit Picks makes very good quality yarn at good prices. I love your cardigan. It’s adorable.

Found a knit book at my local library, they have a bookstore. Only costed 1 dollar and ots a 30 dollar book originally. Best find! I been watching people knit for awhile and I want to make ky own shirts and stuff and the best way is to knit. I mastered crochet, I bet I can master knitting too. I'm hoping soon I can knit a cardigan from the book I brought. You can make a cute bracelet with that leftover yarn.

If you ever have leftover yarn that isnt enough to make any clothing items you should crochet them into granny squares, then over time when you have enough squares out of various leftovers you can make a granny square blanket! Super comfy blanket and can be used as a throw etc

Ideas for left over yarn: ~Idk if its enough for this but BEANIE ~headbands ~idk if you can knit bracelets but there are crochet bracelets you could make. ~small plushie ~earrings ~flowers you could use to upcycle old clothes. ~granny squares ~i think im out of ideas for now.
