@@countydude8654 National 'communists' may have viewed it as a betrayal of the "collective" motherland. most of the bitterness, as outlined in the song, comes from russians, because they kind of were the center of attention, and to be fair the russian people (majortiy of the ussr) during the 60s-70s were doing (nationally, not nescisarrily finanicially or politically) better than they had been during any previous point in their lifetimes. this coencides with the height of the ussr, a second russian "empire" under the banner of communism, at least inmy opionion, so it, to me at least, makes total sense. and additonally, most of the former ssr's are either in russias sphere, in conflict with it, or deeply atuhroitarian. not sure why i wrote this comment, but as a child of soviet (ukrainian) immigrants i feel like this is to a small degree my area of "expertice".

It’s also heavily distorted and with clock noises. The real anthem would be the original song, however this is closer to the vibe of the fictional nation.
