The 3 men keeping the fire of liberty alive; Alexander Zinoniev, a contemporary artist forced to paint a new piece of art as Taboritsky burned all the rest, those being of Shostakovich, Weinberg, Pasternak, Likhachyov & Kharms, only wishing for a better future for Tomsk & soon Russia, now under the banner of the Bastillards of New Tomsk. Anatoly Sobchak, man forced into a horrific situation under the boot of the HRuE, now forced into another one, where he must pick up the pieces in Amur and take care of the people who seek refuge there. Finally Artamonov, a man so shaken by what the Mad Regent has committed against mother Russia, he finds solace in becoming a new West Alaska of sorts under that of the United States who (to him) is the shining hilltop that will care for his broken motherland.
