Contras are superior for tone quality over Sousa phone bro. This is good for cranking. DCi is about the sonority of the sound of the brass and Sousa spreads alot. contra does not. Contras play alot better to for the players.

DCI Is about volume AND BALANCE so there won’t be any Sousa in dci, if every instrument was used for power, they’d use sousas

For the last time, VSU DOES NOT wanna see TSU!!! What you people don't understand is that if you can't sound like this WITH the band, then you're just a fanfare section. TSU consistently sounds this playing WITH the band...that's the difference.

I Play tuba anything dci related. This isn’t good. It’s loud and powerful I’ll give it that, but there is literally no tone quality and it’s so blatty and poorly done. I mean football fans won’t care, it’s just a college section after all
