Looks like I got my work cut out for me to get this thing race ready by next weekend... But I like a challenge!

DrBOB101 Thanks :) I'm going to be dead last if I make the race, unless someone breaks down (and magically I don't). But hopefully bonus points for coolness ;)

B K Thank you! I got a new camera and had to put it to the test. Not really friends with all of its functions yet but as I have exactly one week to make this thing run again I didn't have time to reshoot everything ;)

sorry to bother you but what were the rules for this race?...any kind of engine restrictions?

B K The one back in 71 or the one next weekend? I think back then there were no real restrictions, but they were divided into different classes. The race next weekend is a vintage/classic race. Up to 85 in vintage and 95 in classic. And several classes for each.

snocrushr Thanks! The shots could've been better but it turned out okay anyway. Just got a new camera and I'm still learning what settings work and what don't.

Thanks! Looking forward to it too, although I have a pretty good idea of what it'll sound like because I've had a piped 640 before. The bad part is that my modded 277 is going to outrun it with ease, but I don't really care ;)

Hollaendaren. Why does every snowmobile have very large ski loops added?

OldSkiDoo2 I think they were mandatory to reduce the risk of injury if you hit another driver. Kind of like cars nowadays can't have any pointy bits in the front to protect pedestrians.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to edit. I hope you know that you're at least partially to blame for this ;) As for that race, I can only imagine the kind of sore the drivers must've been the day after. Hard as nails!
