Being a missionary is a great responsibility! A missionary must have great energy, fortitude, and courage. Wherever the missionary goes, no matter what part of the world he is in, he must spread the Word. Locals must understand what the missionary is telling them. The missionary must get the Word right! Therefore, every missionary must know the language of the local people! To everyone who is on a mission or preparing for one, I would like to recommend a very good workshop written by Yury Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes: Practical tips for learning foreign language. This wonderful book will give you answers how to properly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book provides answers to many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. I wish you good luck in your important work!

Praying to be a missionary teacher if it's His will. I graduated as a teacher. I love to see kids and people in a tribe to be literate to know how to read comprehensively so they can read the Bible on their own. Btw, I am grateful to see more workers of the Lord in different parts of the world. Prsying for yall. God bless you

That is awful and I agree. Most Christian Missionaries however are genuine in their mission to uplift and edify and to give and not take. Our ministry for example keeps the title of any land and buildings we have in the name of the natives. It is their land, and their building. Furthermore we have even purchased land for the natives which they did not previously own, and again, put it in their name. Christians do not always reflect Christ. He alone is our perfect example of love. Look to Him.

Really enjoyed and appreciated this video! Thank you!! I'm SDA and I've been a student missionary in the past, but this was inspiring. It also helps me refocus in the current ministry work I'm involved with! It reminds me that we have a whole circle of believers all around the world working to share the gospel and hasten Christ's coming! Praise God!

God is always calling you sis. Run to the Father in repentance and confession of sins and He will accept you with both arms. God loves you and leaves the 99 for you. You are special to God....go serve Him and make Him happy. Live a godly life so that you and your husband may have a strong Christ centered marriage

It looks like an Adventist Quarterly. I think they're available through an app. Every Quarterly focuses on a specific theme/topic and it's handed out in church, but I believe you can get past copies online, as well as the current edition via the app (sorry, don't know what it is, just Google).

Hey there it's a little late, but this book is a study book from the seventh day Adventists. They produce every quarter a book with which you can study the Bible in a group. It's called Sabbath school Bible study guide. The easiest way to get access to the study guide is by the app Sabbath school or Sabbatschule.

Dear friend, I don't know why you think that dead people don't sleep. In John 11 Jesus describes death as sleep. (see also Mar 5:39, 1 Col 11:30, 15:51, 1 Thes 4:13) Whatever Jesus told during the crucifiction he didn't go to the paradise (fathers place) for several days. And what about Moses and Elijah? Look up their death-storys (if they died at all): Moses - Deut 34:6 and Jud 1:9 Elijah - 2 Kings 2

Jesus told the thief on the cross today you will be with me in paradise. The thief went to paradise that day to Jesus Father. Being with Jesus Father is like being with Jesus. Jesus went to the belly of the earth for 3 days. He got the keys from Hell. He then saw Mary. He told her not to touch him because he hasn't ascended to his father yet. Jesus soul went and recovered the keys. He had to go to his father to get his immortal body. A freshly body cannot go through hell. Questioning about being asleep until the last day when we die is true for most people. There are certain people who do go strait to heaven. The others are in a sleep until Jesus comes back and he raises them to reign with him 1000 years. The people who reign 1000 years and came out of the great tribulation. The ones who gave their lives for the word of God. Satan is going to try to attack God's people again. He will fail. God shoots fire down from Heaven and Micheal throws him in the lake of fire. Then all the dead will be raised. But yes some go straight to heaven when they die and some go in a deep sleep. It depends on God's mercy and he is God our Father and it is his decision.

What's mind boggling to me is the every teacher gives lectures and teaches in English word. How could the locals understand? I saw nobody translating in local language.

All our schools are in English as that is how all the testing is done in the Philippines. we are preparing this student for the future and English is super important for them to learn. BTW, they learn quickly and many speak fluently!

Many Filipinos speak English. Not sure about its "importance" seeing as most of the world doesn't speak it. But they do speak it there, and the kids clearly understand the teacher.

Jesus said out of His own mouth..Luke 13:35 You will not see me again until the time comes when you say blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD. In the Hebrew scriptures the Name of the LORD is YHVH which is pronounced Yehovah, the God of Israel. He has a name and it is not allah. This is the God of Jesus the Messiah of Israel.

Please try and objectively consider things before you generally judge the people of God. I’m not your enemy, this is the reason why Messiahs people are so divided. Stop using your doctrinal positions and righteousness above other believers.

To build a church you don't need funds, you just need supports from your community and circles around community. Our first church was made of bamboo , mud , dried grass and mud , build by the community itself. A space to gather is enough. If you are not able to adjust with that you are not ready.

Allah is not God. God is God. Jesus prayed to God because he is God's son. Jesus said that no one comes to him unless his father draws them to him. Jesus also said that his sheep hear his voice. People who do not hear his voice aren't his sheep. Hopefully you will not be blind anymore and Our father in heaven will lead you to the truth. Jesus said himself there is no one good alone without God. Jesus also said that God calls all his children his sons and daughters. How much more Jesus is the only true son of God because God's spirit lives in him. There is no one more precious in heaven than Jesus Christ son of the living God who is sinless. Sorry I get very offended when Muslims or any religion tries to take our savior who washed away all of our sin so we don't go to hell and suffered on the cross and you basically give him no respect at all. Our savior brought love. Your Mohammad brought hatred. Our father in Heaven would be disgusted at the way you treat your women and kill your own people for no good reason. You think you go to heaven for good works. There is nothing you can do in 100 lifetimes that would make you worthy of heaven. It is only through Gods mercy you are saved through the sacrifice of Our Father who is in heaven shedding his only begotten son. Born from the line of David through King Davids female offspring Mary And God breathed his spirit into Mary which was Jesus father.

First off, I love you bro, and want for you to be saved. Jesus Christ is God(John 1). Please, I encourage you to read the gospels and understand that heaven is not attainable by being good(Mark 10:18)(Isaiah 64:6)(Romans 3:23)(Romans 3:10)(Ecclesiastes 7:20)(Romans 3:20). It is only by God’s grace through faith in Christ as the son of God that we can be saved(Ephesians 2:8-9). We have sinned and, justly deserve hell(Romans 6:23), yet Christ came, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross for our sins, He bore the full wrath of God for humanity’s sin on the cross. He was buried and rose again three days later(1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Islam teaches Jesus never was crucified and did not rise from the dead which are both historically off. Man, I love you. I’ve experienced Christ and He’s real. I’m telling you, Jesus is God and the Bible is true. You may have been told the opposite all throughout your upbringing, but the gospel proves itself true and so does the Bible. Jesus is worth it and the only way to heaven(Acts 4:12), (John 14:6). He’s worth it all

Isa in the book of Muslims is not the Jesus of Bible. In the book Quran, Miriam the sister of Moses is mentioned as the mother of Isa, false prophet. Muslims don’t know the difference. AD 625 started as a false religion. Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with true God.
