Why do people get SO angry when people talk about Raymond? He’s a little bundle of joy and I love him. Most people don’t just like him because he’s popular. They like him because he’s a sweetheart. I swear the same people who hate on Raymond are the same people who are obsessed with Marshal. Who’s also a popular villager. Anyway- just like people like who they like.

Raymond does not deserve the hate. The fact that everyone hates them now is proof of mob mentality. It’s horrible how quickly it happened.

Ok so- I recently just got Raymond, alongside Chrissy and Francine... *time to shower Raymond with gifts*

I actually like Raymond because of his personality. I originally invited him to my island because I needed more residents and I couldn’t find Fang (and I don’t have his Amiibo card because they’re expensive and you’re not even guaranteed to get the one you want), but I wasn’t expecting him to have hidden depths. He has moments where he actually shows vulnerability and self-consciousness, and I find that really cute. And yes, I realize that any villager with the same personality will have that same depth, but he’s the only smug villager on my island, so it’s not really an issue.

The people who were always flexing on how they have Raymond on their island ruined his flow.

This video is like me. I always feel so alone and anyone who reaches out to me, I get sappy and thankful for them. I used to get bullied so much in school and by religious kids- I never felt like I belonged anywhere up until 2019, when I came to LA for a BTS concert. Everyone I met was so nice and I met my bf that week too. I moved here to be with him and have been so much more happy. I still have dark times on occasion where my inner demons tell me stuff like he doesn’t love me or I don’t belong, but as soon as my bf and I cuddle- all of it melts away. I wish I could have Raymond so I could shower him with love and make sure he is happy.

Hilarious and hella strange since the night before I hunted for him and got nothing. In my opinion he has literally the cutest and most unique design in the game and his personality is just so cute. ok but seriously i feel like all the people who are charging real life (or actually even in-game) money for visiting their island, designs, etc are kinda missing the point of the game. it’s not a way for you to make easy cash or gain popularity. it’s escapism and above else a really sweet and fun game where people can express themselves and share their creations and experiences with everyone around them. Edit for all the people who are saying that they bought the game so they should be aloud to do with it what they please: Of course you are aloud to play it as you please. I can’t restrict how you play the game and in the end, i don’t really care that much either. If you bought your dream villager, i’m glad you have them now, i just personally feel like it brakes the bubble of finding them on a mystery island so i myself wouldn’t do it (but in the end i’m just happy that you got your dream villager and i don’t really care how). This was more about the people who are basically going “oh you have bad turnip prices? mine are 500 per turnip. give me a million bells and you can come sell them on my island.”.
