Sir ek doubt tha jab pointer ko spring se attach karege toh voh cm scale ke zero pe point karana chahiye na

It is adjustible you can set in that way also. Here I am having the spring of large length .you can adjust the cm scale a little downward if possible to adjust pointer at 0 And then you can start the experiment from 0 weight also, I started it from 20 gms initially as I am taking hanger a kind of massless quantity

Loading and unloading of weight must be done gently. Reading should be noted only when tip of pointer comes to rest. Loading should not be beyond elastic limit. There should be no friction between scale and pointer
