The Bottled Imp - Episode 55
The forging of the realm continues! Kingsburg is expanding and the new governors must once again influence advisors, strengthen their provinces, and defend the realm from the hideous attacking monsters.
The Bottled Imp takes a look at the ‘Kingsburg’ expansion ‘To Forge a Realm’ published by Fantasy Flight.
The first expansion for the popular ‘Kingsburg’ game, ‘To Forge a Realm’ adds 5 new modules for players to explore. You can add one, two or all of the modules depending on how you feel!
Module 1: Additional Building Rows:
Exchange the original base game province sheets with the new one that has two new rows of buildings for each player to build and score victory points and unlock new strategies.
Module 2: Alternative Building Rows:
14 Alternative Building Rows allows each player to choose whether or not to use them depending on what strategy they wish to follow.
Module 3: Governor Cards:
25 Governor Cards means each player has one Governor on their side to grant a special benefit to that player.
Module 4: Destiny Cards:
Each year a Destiny Card is revealed to shape the tone of the coming year. It could be good for players or bad!
Module 5: Soldier Tokens:
Each player has a set of Soldier Tokens that they use when the monsters attack. Each token has a number on it and when played, that number is added to their total soldier count when fighting the monsters. But players must use them wisely as the one remaining token at the end of the game will add to their final Victory Point count.
More stuff; more enjoyment?
