I do understand what you are saying in your example but I also understand that guy. I lost my dad when I was around 12 and I turned from God. It wasn’t until my early 20s that I came back to him. That hurt me a lot and I was a child. You don’t really know his story or how young he was or how close he was to God to turn away. Heartbreak can truly hurt you. It’s important to understand that empathy for people can help you to understand.

sorry that happened to you at such a young age 🙁💝 & ur right… I’ve lost many loved ones so i 100% empathize with him and anyone else that has lost loved ones. i still don’t think we should abandon God when life gets hard, but obviously that’s easier said than done. it’s a tough idea to grasp, but that’s why i stress the importance of having these conversations.
