I always wondered as a kid, the colorful characters who did their own thing were who everyone talked about and scoffed at. It was like living a life of drudgery and monotony *WAS* their flex, and they were jealous because that's all they had, being the masters dutiful dog.

If you think about it from the outside, the life of a human is less than ideal. For example, most of us have jobs, and what do we do after our jobs? Sleep. And then you wake up the next day and repeat that until you have your unporportioned 2 day weekend. Like we slave for 5 days to rest 2 and then they talk about a work life balance. I heard in Europe they have a 3 day weekend.

I have a 3 day weekend and im in the states. Its there if its YOUR ideal seek and find. Its 10 hr shifts though.

Eh that’s cuz of social construct. We don’t HAVE to live that way our real only “job” is to provide for ourselves and we could have built a society more based on trading our individual skill sets to one another… we just are greedy

My life goal is to have fun, be happy, and go on adventures. That's my life goal. That's why kids and marriage don't align with my goals, I tell my mom, if something is not broken, why fix it? That's how you end up in regret because you listened to other people instead of your own. I am happy in my life, alone, with no friends, doing my thing.
