I knew jiwoo's story is gonna be sad but I didn't expect that I'll cry this much. If the word 'lonely' was a person,it would be jiwoo. Hatred for his parents getting passed on to him, his ex gf breaking up cuz she felt lonely with him - something he later experienced himself with seojoon, patiently being a supportive bf to seojoon but feeling lonely and worthless so trying to blame seojoon but realising that seojoon is perfect so instead blaming it on himself and thinking building up the walls and thinking he'll not mean anything to seojoon after a while. Still secretly hoping that seojoon will come back to him and thus keeping his restaurant's name 'waiting' and keeping all his memories with sj still with him

Season 1 was a perfect buildup for the drama extravaganza that is season 2. Viewers were made to believe we were gonna get lovey-dovey couple scenes, but no. We were made to cry every week instead 🥲🥲🥲 And I love them with all of my heart. But when we get season 3 (praying, praying, praying), can we please see them together happy and doing romantic stuff? 🥲

This scene is really heart breaking... because Ji Woo's plan A may not come true... and plan B is living in a memory box for the rest of his life. 😭 😭 😭 We have a strong connection now between Ji Woo's confession of being extremely lonely from Episode 6 and the new flashback scenes of the time they were together. It was really a hard time on Ji Woo living together with Seo Joon. They really need a completely new start... or their relationship won't work at all. In the mean time they could be together as Ji Woo proposed in Episode 5 to Seo Joon as "partners", in an open relationship way... doing things together, but living officially in separated places... just like everybody does when they start a relationship... because is not like we all move together with our new boyfriend right away... do we...?? That was a way to build up their relationship again... but Seo Joon turned it down. Not realizing the chance of starting all over from the beginning was a huge mistake from Seo Joon. It is obvious he has not yet realized the ways out of this. He still believed they could go back to living just like before... which is non sense. And because he is still unable to see that he gave up in Episode 7... just like Ji Woo predicted it back in Episode 4: JW - Do whatever you want to do. I am sure you won't stand doing this much longer. I never expected that JUNG Sung Yoon would explain Ji Woo's way of thinking and foreseen things in the long term just the say way I did after Episodes 1 & 2. Even Ji Woo's friend journalist from Season 1 Lee Yoon Seul knew he is the kind of person to "always foreseen the worst scenarios before making any choices". The main idea comes in JUNG Sung Yoon's dialogue with Ji Woo by the end of Episode 8: JSY - You are also expecting Seo Joon to realize why you are doing this? JW looks at her like being caught "in fraganti" with all of his plans for the present and future: JSY - But I think it most be really hard for someone like KANG Seo Joon to figure this out. You came all they way down here... just to be able to get back together with Seo Joon, right? (PLAN A) If it is not... then... you were looking for a way to let go of him completely. (PLAN B) THAT is exactly what I said after watching Episode 2 was Ji Woo "plan" in the long term....!! 😯 🙈 😏 😉 Originally I said after watching Episode 2 this Season was to have two alternative endings: (PLAN A) Seo Joon would be able to process in this time the problems they faced while living together and find a way to star all over again in an open relationship way, slowly... the way Ji Woo proposed it to him back in Episode 5. I supported my thesis at the very beginning on two points: - The name of the restaurant: TI ASPETTO (I am waiting for you) - The fragment of the poem by RUMI out of the English translation from "Mathnawi III, 1284-1288" under the restaurant name on the wall should tell also KANG Seo Joon why that place exits... but he seems not to be able to understand that English quote either: "That’s how you came here, like a star without a name. Move across the night sky with those anonymous lights." (PLAN B) Seo Joon wouldn't be able to stand the pressure and would give up. The question now is IF Seo Joon could go back from Plan B to Plan A... figuring all this out....? 🤔 Because if not... How could Ji Woo convince Seo Joon of going for Plan A....? Yes... He failed before... but with all the new things that had happen Seo Joon may be able to see that to be the only way out of this to have a happy new start together. Well... we will see next Sunday how the story goes on. We have now just 2 more Episodes left. Otherwise... HWANG Da Seul may have already planned to end this Season with an open ending... and more forward in Season 3 next year. 🤨 ☺️ 😏 Cheers...!

When JW FINALLY ... after a year ... listened to SJ's messages and realized how wrong he was to think SJ would quickly forget him - my tears fell for poor bewildered, devastated and devoted SJ. His love was pure, his devotion full. Few among us would not want a love like this and fight hard to keep and protect it. Tears were not for JW. Whose wounds were all self-inflicted. The unimaginable pain he inflicted on SJ, not just in the brutal way he left but the harsh words and treatment since SJ found him ... and tried over and over to get him back. Not ONCE in that time did JW ever express remorse for the way he dumped SJ ... on his bd, no less. How is it possible that he could love SJ and still abandon him so heartlessly ... knowing that having been abandoned by his parents, that would be such a trauma to SJ? One of the most satisfying scenes in this unrelentingly joyless S2 ... "I give up." How could he ever trust JW not to disappear and ghost him again? The ONLY reason they are even talking now is because SJ spent a long year desperately searching for JW.

Well, JW definitely has reasons and issues but it doesn't mean he can treat SJ that way. JW plays very dangerous unhealthy and mind games here which can destroy a person's life and career. SJ is not perfect, but if he lets somebody like JW in, then he doesn't learn his lesson since it can make him end up badly. I still consistently think that they cannot be together. From 1-8, we know JW loves SJ but it seems SJ is not what he wants and needs in the future. SJ loves JW, but JW clearly is not what SJ needs to build a future together. Some loves from different worlds are solid and can work together, some are not. Different people from different worlds can be only together healthy if they communicate any of their issues thoroughly; otherwise, somebody has to give something which won't end up well. For example, SJ gives up his acting career so JW won't feel lonely; or JW needs to give up his cooking so he can be together with SJ. Issues like this must be solved by discussing with the loved one so nobody has to give up anything and still be themselves enjoying their own passion world. JW chooses an easy exit from this very difficult issue by ghosting SJ after one year of living together. No, that's nasty. If SJ was a woman, and the day JW left SJ found out she was pregnant. A year after that, SJ had the baby alone without JW. I didn't think anyone would forgive JW with his countryside restaurant if that was the case.
