Notably, Rahul Gandhi secured victories in both the Lok Sabha seats he contested -- Wayanad in Kerala and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh -- with impressive margins in the general elections.

If Rahul Gandhi betrayed Wayanad,Modi too betrayed vadodra in 2019 ! Atleast the people of Wayanad are happy that Priyanka will be representing them. Also when Maneka Gandhi and Varun Gandhi was in the BJP it wasn't a dynast politics.

People of Vadodara were aware that Modi was contesting from Varanasi, but Rahul Gandhi didn't tell the people of Wayanad that he will contest from Rae Barareli later and after winning from Rae Bareli he will quit the Wayanad seat.

@@vishnu_5797 Only after the completion of Phase 1, Rahul Gandhi announced that he would contest from Rae Bareili too! Kerala people didn't know that he would contest from another place too, but he knew it and didn't reveal earlier just so that it wouldn't effect the voting in Wayanad.

It was a third attempt to win by BJP and won 240 seats plus alliance partners - NDA won a thumping majority - A HAT TRICK.Only happened in 1962 ! By the way , last time Islamic Congress won 240 seats was sometime in the last century when Pappu was still wrapped up in a nappy..

It’s too funny to put a remark that RG betrayed the Wayanad but to fact that BJP is afraid the losing the UP ground wants to push him out to retain UP.
