Why? The vast majority in the UN councils are doing their best to establish law and order throughout the world. It’s obvious that certain countries only vote for what is in their own interests, or to protect their special allies. For the last 7 months you have been watching the USA waste everybody’s time and make a mockery of the system by refusing to vote against Israel. What the UN needs is the ability to enforce its resolutions. Israel has never complied with anything the UN has instructed it to do. It has simply ignored the law, and therefore this arrogant man has no right to demand action from the UN on Israel’s behalf.

You should look up Resolution es-11/1. There’s a short version on wikipedia. 141 countries voted for only 5 against and China was NOT one of them because they chose to abstain their vote. The content in es-11/1 is adopted into Resolutions 11/2 -11/6 so, a total of 6 resolutions from the general assembly.

Why is Israel negotiating for the release of some of the hostages, when the UN resolution demands ALL of them be released? Why is Israel agreeing to release prisoners, when the resolution does not say they must? Israel should pull out of the talks, bring the negotiators home, and demand the release of all the hostages. Start a temporary ceasefire after Hamas releases all the hostages.

While I used to support the idea of allowing Gazans to establish their own sovereign state, I now vehemently oppose it. The notion of an Islamic terrorist state at the heart of Israel is simply unacceptable. Gone are the days of pleading for peace and offering aid, only to be met with hostility. We have reached a point where we are no longer interested in engaging with them. It is time to reclaim our land and insist that they leave. Enough is enough. We want nothing to do with those in Gaza. It's time for them to leave our land.

It's simply astounding how people possess such an impeccable sense of self-righteousness. Asking for a ceasefire in any conflict is nothing more than a display of easy virtue signaling. All it demands is for one to take the noble stance that, well, killing people is bad. The real conundrum here is whether Israel is expected to absorb these attacks rather than retaliate against Hamas. To suggest such a thing would be a display of moral cowardice and hypocrisy. It's a standard that no one would hold their own nation to, a standard that you wouldn't even adhere to in your own life. It's nothing more than a shallow and worthless display of virtue.
