Lizardmen are the second from top multiplayer faction behind only kislev right now. They are unbelievably strong. Nurgle has been one of the worst so I would expect that he climbs up alot but still won't be better than lizards after their recent update.

effin' oggdo bogdo lol. i actually rage quit the first game. the main story arc sent me back to the same Stormtrooper planet I was already at like 2 hours prior, and all the engagements were the exact same, in the exact same spots. spawns and everything. got bored and never picked up Fallen Order again. also some of those puzzles were insane. the underground vault with the balls you had to force push around, I would have never figured out without KZfaq. actually unhinged

Honestly, when game one launched I NEVER thought Tamrakhan would make it into the game, being a forgeworld creation. When the Mammoth came to Norsca, I STILL didnt think we would see him, as I thought that would be a one off. As one of my favorite Lords in the series, this is not only an exciting release, but it shows that if they can keep going with this game, the sky is the limit on what we could expect to see! One update I think would be fantastic, is adding these toad dragons as a nurgle lord mount option. Perhaps slightly less impressive than Boubous (Tamrakhans dragon) but all the same. In fact, I am hoping they add themed manticores and dragons to ALL marked generic Lords (as per army books). Heres hoping!

Expectations are the enemy of happiness. give it atleast a year before you start making assumptions. CA is less than half the size that it was a year ago. That has absolutely affected this game and will continue to have consequences. Idk why people have to "expect." anything instead of just waiting and seeing

@@Weberkooks I don't "expect"anything. I'm saying the possibilities have alot of promise. Yeah, they fired a bunch of people. "Woke" people who wanted to rush through anything warhammer to hurry and get to the "activist" content of other games. I've chatted with someone inside who filled me in on the whole mess, including a less than savory mess that would get me shadowbanned to even talk about. They are back to the same size crew they had with Warhammer 1 and 2. And as those games showed, thats not a bad thing. Most of those fired were new hires after the success of 1 and 2, who were working on other projects no one wanted or asked for, which were made more for political virtue signaling than anything else. A mistake it seems, that CA is thankfully correcting.

And while yes, some were good people (hence why I said MOST) the problem was activists infiltrating gaming through DEI groups. Very real problem. One you either support, or are in ignorance about obviously. They dropped MILLIONs of a game about (censored by KZfaq if I say so look it up) in outer space called "Hyena's", and that was just ONE such project which was a lost cause before it was even finished. Warhammer 3 has been a bumpy road at best, and outright absent, because they were diverting most resources to these "activist" titles, which lost them a ton of money. Then there was something not as well known, a S abuse scandal that was ongoing, and covered up by people who were afraid of being fired because allegations were against someone in the upper echelons. You have NO idea what your talking about.

ToD is such a gigantic step up from the first release of shadows of change. So many massive and extremely good changes, nem crown, dwarf rework, nurgle reworked, a new FLC for nurgle. This is most definitely the BEST update TW3 has had since immortal empires

I just want to remind everyone to give props to the animators for making the movements of animals that *do not exist* seem so realistic. They clearly studied the skeletons and movements of real animals to incorporate them into the animations. It reminds me of how Disney animators studied real dogs to get the animations in movies like Lady and the Tramp and 101 Dalmations down pat.

Daemons, undeads and elemental ones have the mechanic that make them on a trump card if getting advantaged, but they are also the rotting bums if getting disadvantaged by hp crumbling over time unless they get some guts, making them always wiped out in prolonged battle.

with much healing in place for Tamurkhan, "the feast of the maggot lord" is more like a final blow to take enemy with him than a second wind like zhao ming with his artifact, considered you would most probably ran out of healing capacity during the fight

@@rubric-eo5yj The vast majority of counts SE killing power is in their lords. Blood knights are very hard to get a good engagement with unless your opponent plays horribly. Crypt horrors are quite good and generally capable of chunking down monsters, but beyond that there's basically nothing.

would have been a solid pick, could have put a lot of pressure on the toad dragon with the troglodon spit, then charge in from the rear with harmonic convergence and heals when opportunity arises. unsure whether it would be better than Scar vet on carno. competitively, people always bring casters. but Plague ogres and Rot knights would have been much more dangerous to Kroq Gar if he didnt have another Carno supporting him

I think they need to fix the charge animation for the Rotting Riders? They seem to stop just before contact and do a tail spin. Im sure this would gratly reduce their damage output

Next time you have the Toad Dragon as a video centerpiece, you should 1000% narrate a script based off the Tox-dump scene from Lords of Silence. I wish the sorcerer hero for nurgle was a fat boy like the v2/tabletop nurgle sorcerer's. The tabletop model was a fatboy(looks like the leech from v2), so it would have made sense to add it. Also considering we got the 3 headed hero for tzeentch. Its simple, but those little visual things are special. Wish the sorcerer was a fat boy :(

That death skill does seem just way too strong in terms of damage. Compared to similar abilities on say tyrion or Malus (t'zarkan as a second life) it just seems obnoxious especially combined with the mass speed and damage output. Honestly getting the impression that they're just making the new stuff op just to sell it.

I mean, it makes sense lorewise since it's basically supposed to represent the actual Maggot leaving the old body and stealing that of its killer. Personally, I think it's kind of fine, but the range needs tuning. A 100 meters radius is too much for something like this.

Agreed on the range being way too big. It should definitely only activate at very close range, and nurgle has the tools to slow enemies down and keep them within that radius. 100 meters is absurd and way too big for a little Maggot.

range should probably be shorter, 100 meters doesnt really make sense. 10-25 meters max would be much more logical. and even 25 meters might be a stretch. it should be a dueling ability, not a lord sniper from across the map
