Filipino mostly doesn't follow rules wheb they sing. The only requirement that every filipino singer shouldn't forget is giving the song justice by sincerely singing it, feeling the song, and understanding the song. Technicalities is the least priority. Believe it or not, but most of the Filipino singers doesn't undergone any vocal lessons. Every household has a Karaoke.

The best cover of this song is from South Korea. Watch the cover by Jinho of Pentagon. That is the best cover ever by this song. Not this one. Michael cracks a lot.

Rules among Filipino singers: 1. You can't forget the lyrics of the song 2. You can't have a "piyok" during live performances (unintentional vocal break) or else they'll laugh at you 3. You need to be a good-excellent singer if you want to be a recording artist here, or else people will mock you 4. Never use AUTOTUNE or else you'll destroy your own career Fellow Pinoys, add kayo kung meron pa hahaha.

When it comes to singing, Filipino don't follow the rules we just feel and understand the lyrics and we put our emotions into the song we're singing. :) dba? Hehehe we also like to sing a song with high notes and then practice on our own 'til we get that high note.

Almost every great singer here in ph grow up training their voices and figuring it out themselves not through coaching. Only later if they choose singing as a profession will they seek coaches.
