My dad an force veteran and I were at the Rodeo on the Fourth of July a couple of years ago. He’s in a wheel chair and had his veterans hat on. At the end he needed to us the restroom. There’s was a very long line, he said under his breath oh no, we went to the back of the line, the gentleman in the rear looked at my dad and said in a load voice we have a veteran here, every man in that line all the way to the urinal moved aside. I learned that night that there are a lot of honorable men in this country. God bless our veterans.

We do OWE THE MILITARY EVERYTHING. I was in Hawaii, Oahu, Waikiki Beach on 9/11 on the first Anniversary and I was able to see the full Military Parades from every division, and they carried a replica of the Twin Towers that day down that street. It hit me so hard to see all those Young people making the ultimate sacrifice, so I had the ability to sit on the street in front of the Sheraton Princess Kauilani, as a free citizen!!! I thank all military every chance I get. We need more Patriots now more than ever, and we need more Americans like Toby Keith willing to stand up and represent us all!

What a wonderful way to pay tribute and honor to a veteran

For those that don't know. Early OEF Toby and crew put on Flak vest. Loaded a Black Hawk flew to a hot LZ and played for Our Troops. Toby Rocks....

My son is serving and he deploys this month for a year ... Leaving behind 2 young daughters 7 and soon to be 5.... With love I say I am glad he is serving no matter what happens and to all military families know we are family no matter the branch.... It takes a great young man or woman to do what they do and the family they leave behind. The tears are in my eyes as I write. Toby s music has touched my heart.

My Dad fought in WWII. 2 TIME Purple Heart Veteran. I had 4 brothers all in Army during Vietnam war. 1 Nephew in Army Stateside as well. I am so proud of these guys. Words can never express. Thank you for sharing! My grandpa serviced in world war 2. With Patton they freed a concentration camp! He only talked one time to me when he had to for a high school grade! I love the way that everyone is helping the Marine Vet up to the stage in such a respectful way. They are not babying him in anyway. They know that he would have trouble with the steps and offer the help but only as to support him so that he does not fall or hurt himself and are letting him do most of the work. He missed being in the Navy seals by two points so they made him the boss over the entire diving team and was the ship welder but he always wanted to die for this country. He reunited after 911. He was faithful to his country but not to woman but we remained friends for I respected him and always will but hes in heaven now with my son.Very good father to my son even though he was a step dad he taught my son alot. Miss being around my ex-husband I admired his Beverly and dedication to the Navy especially after 911.

My Dad served in the Army during the Vietnam War as an enlisted man, got his draft notice and said he went to the recruiter's office the next day and enlisted. He was lucky to be given advice from a friend's Dad who was an officer in the Army to put Korea (South obviously) down for his hardship tourand that's where he got sent. I know he was and is proud to have served his country but he doesn't like showing it. He knows people from his high school class (a small ass town in Wisconsin) that made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam and I almost think he feels slightly guilty of that. I remember at one of my high school's football games they honored the veterans since it fell on Veteran's Day or the day after and it took a ton of encouragement from my Mom and myself to get him to stand. I've never known quite how to say it to him, but Thanks Dad for giving up those 4 years to do your duty! Videos like this brings tears to my eyes knowing what my Dad doesn't like to tell and he should not feel guilty about the fact so many people lost their lives and he made it through that time due to advice he recieved.
