The late country legend, Toby Keith, gets honored at the 59th annual Academy of Country Music Awards with a heartfelt speech from Blake Shelton and an emotional performance by Jason Aldean, which leaves his family in tears. The Academy of Country Music Awards streamed live on Prime Video from Frisco, Texas, on May 16.

Are you serious? Jason Aldean absolutely slaughtered that song do not even put patriot in Jason Aldean in the same sentence. Toby Keith was a wonderful man wonderful patriot. Jason Aldean and his plastic wife are so phony. It is not even funny. Not one thing country about them except the money they make off all of you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This is my opinion.

Looks to me like they were ALL crying, understandbly,, even I was and still get teary eyed! Toby was and always will be the Big Dawg legend that we all know and love. Huge supporter to our troops, loved hunting, shooting guns w friends just as much singing around a campfire or in tiny to BIG places all over! Super proud to be a 4ever fan of his! RIP Toby ❤ U

I was the operations manager of The Crazy Horse concert hall where Toby did 6 shows over 2 nights. He was so funny and he went to Dave & Busters by himself even though I offered him security! I’ll never forget those nights in 2000. I feel so special to have had that opportunity. 🎸

Have always been a fan of Toby. Your family is in my prayer's. One of my favorite songs was how do you like me now.. And it was also was my son's favorite song. He even won a dance competition at the age of six dancing to how do you like me now. Your music will always play on in our homes.

The only way anyone truly can. The love and support from her family and friends, but mostly, her faith in God and the peace and strength only He can provide. 🛐🙌 Toby was very outspoken about his Faith and how he found comfort in knowing he would have eternal life in Heaven.
