Check out and support the original video and creator, they deserve it

This video’s statement about the eyesight of a rex reminds me of a recent devblog video for “The Isle” where a human (who’s locked into a first-person view) was about 12 feet from a rex hiding behind a bush and the rex was totally obscured. The rex could see the human just fine since the dinos use a third-person view, but it relates pretty well how this video describes such a moment.

we need to see this with all the dinos accurate, because the spino in JP3 is even less accurate than the T-rex is

Yeah it would be interesting to see the whole jurassic park franchise with complete accuracy with all the dinos. Especially since some things like the velociraptor was basically a utahrapter and all.

@@Tobias-puppetghost in all fairness, the movies and novels both mentioned that these aren't REALLY dinosaurs, they're monsters with the appearance we believe to be dinosaurs. Wu even said he filled in the gaps with modern animal DNA which is why many of them seem so reptilian.

@@omnipresentl1316 Yeah I believe there's a quote in jurassic park 3 that went somewhere along with lines of. "The animals on those islands are nothing more than genetically engineered monsters" It went something along the lines of that and that perfectly sums it up.

Thank you for bringing back my childhood nightmare with the mother and father T-Rexes peering around the tent when I saw that scene I was worried that they were going to get eaten in their sleep!!😱

Three reasons why the Spinosaurus won in JP3 1. The Spinosaurus was an experiment that was treated like crap in development, it was a very aggressive to anything. (It also lived in the northwest part of the island, where as the second film it took place in the south west part of the island, which explains why the spino wasn't in the film) The Spinosaurus was also armored btw 2. The Rex in the third film was an inexperienced sub adult male that primarily scavenged (due to Mr. Jack Horner being the ass of a guide to the dinosaurs.) Plus since the rexes and all the dinosaurs are technically genetic clones, it's bite force may not have been all that strong to begin with. That and add on the excelerated growth rate, lack of experience, and what Goji Center said about the teeth, the Rex had no chance at coming out of that fight alive. 3. The Spinosaurus was in an already vengeful mood. The plane slashed the sail of the Spino (the blood you saw on the windshield of the plane) and when it saw the humans inside, it was now on a vengeance quest. That's the reason why it kept following them. So an already hyper aggressive creature that was mistreated by its human captores on a human murder spree, so the Spino was already in an agitated state when the Rex got there. So basically, there's the reasons why the Spinosaurus won the fight against the Rex

29:32 T.Rex is actually a ton or two bigger than Giganotosaurus too. Giganotosaurus is around 8-9 tons, T.Rex maxes out at 11.7 tons (for now, there could be even bigger individuals from both species, but right now T.Rex is bigger than every other land predator known by quite a bit)

Yeah Indom had Deinosuchus DNA which had an even greater bite then Tyrannosaurus but it isn't really a land animal and therefore isn't mentioned sense Megalodon has the record high for water. But yeah applying the same logic would make it close, due to the Indoms specifically designed to be a resilient weapon. Though with lack of experience like mentioned in the video, I wager it'd be close but the Rex should win but honestly...barely.

Seeing this reaction video about T-Rex accuracy in Jurassic Park made me immediately think. Toby, have you ever played any of the Fossil Fighters series? If so, would you consider doing a play-through of any of them?

Camp Cretaceous is a cgi spinoff series following a group of kids at a camp like event during the events of Jurassic world, and fallen kingdom. Mostly a kids series but they do have a bunch of dinosaurs dying and adults dying (not on screen) and features events and scenes from the other two movies as the camp was happening at the same time. It also features the indominus Rex, Rexy other lesser known big threats and an all new hybrid called the scorpion Rex which is the actual first hybrid of the series. Though not as deadly as the I-Rex or even the indo raptor.

29:54 I highly doubt the giga would know because it was made and recently Born, again like goji said against a much older more experienced accurate T-Rex this would be a death sentence.

Any crazy downsides you hear about the t-rex, you have to realize it was the top of the food chain for millions of years, and would have likely continued as such if a meteor didn't wipe it out. Obviously, nature had done something right for it. It would not have blatantly obvious handicaps that would doom it to extinction. Nah, it thrived in it's environment of the time. I thank that fuckin' meteor that we don't gotta deal with them in today's world lmao

Oh by the way I don't know if Goji Center mentioned this but in Jurassic Park the Lost World the novel there was going to be a scene where the main characters Alan Grant the other two I don't remember but there's going to be a scene where they have to take a raft to get where they needed to go but they had the sneak past a sleeping T-Rex they made it across until one of the characters started coughing that woke up the T-Rex and the T-Rex followed them in the water and the only thing that saved them what is a baby T-Rex eating the adult T-rex's pray that the adult already claimed

A few quick notes: 1. Pretty much all of the Dinosaurs in there are highly inaccurate today and some such as the Dilophosaurus and "Velociraptors" were pretty terrible even for the time. Obviously non of that matters but it's still interesting to note. 2. I'd love a JP reboot based on the books, while the movies story id amazing the book is noticeable more horrifying and its creatures are both more interesting and more dangerous. 3. One thing to note about measuring Dinosaur intelligence is that it is all just educated guesses at best. It's already hard and unreliable enough to measure the intelligence of modern day animals with the methods used being changed and/or disproven constantly, so with creatures such a T. Rexes that have been extinct for about 66 million years it is pretty much impossible to know. From what evidence we do have from their fossils and our ideas about there closest living relatives today, and the fact that creatures as small as Bees are probably both sentient and probably not dumb (That is actual scientifically information not just my opinion on Bee intelligence) we can presume that most Dinosaurs especially theropods were pretty smart but unlikely to generally be at genius levels, so it's unlikely that any non-avian Dinosaurs reached the level of creatures such as Humans or Ravens unless we are wrong about those creatures intelligence levels which is entirely possible. Also how fast a creature is does not seem to significantly impact their intelligence. 4. Also to be clear Frogs can see things that aren't moving, they wouldn't be able to function if they couldn't. 5. T. Rexes in the water are fun, for no particular reason other than it being amazing I'd recommend that you read the book. 6. To be clear while it's not impossible that they could roar, there is no actual evidence showing that they would be capable of doing so but who knows. 7. By the most dangerous predator of their time they mean other T. Rexes. 8. If we were going off realism for all creatures then as well s the fact that the movies wouldn't have happened all of the creature other than the T. Rex mentioned in this video would both be much smaller and hugely different, for example IRL neither Spinos nor Gigas were bigger than Rexes.

I wouldn’t say ALL of them are highly inaccurate but none of them are perfect either. They call Giraffatitan a Brachiosaurus for example.

@@SinisterFears Yeah saying highly inaccurate might be overexaggerating a bit, but you would struggle to find one that holds up, plus some are pretty terrible (When it comes to accuracy not design, I do think that they all look visually good.)

The dinosaur vocal cords video on KZfaq is invalid , not saying they absolutely didnt sound like that just saying it has no scientifical backing and the dinosaurs could most probably sound like something else ... The only study on the sound of a dinosaur that has been done up until now was on a hadrosaur named parasaurolophus, which we also see in the movie ...

The T-Rex was accurate by the knowledge back in 1993. "What would happen if an accurate T-rex was in the Jurassic Park Franchise"??? No human knows b.c. we have no idea how this animal was, just assumptions.
