It actually surprisingly doesn't, unfortunately. I really wish it did. Tobey's Peter just doesn't have many impressive on screen IQ feats, whereas Tom's Peter actually does. It's one of the several flaws of the iconic, beloved Raimi trilogy. I shall name a list of IQ feats for Tom Holland's Spider-Man below. I prefer Tobey's Peter over Tom's, by a lot, so this hurts me to speak, but I'm doing what must be done, what's necessary. • Can nail his high school algebra tests, which most average people struggle with, myself included, implied to be with relative ease. • Created his own functioning, effective mechanical web shooters, alongside his own web fluid, with no help, using the very limited resources that he had, not having much money at the time, living only with his dear Aunt May. Again, this is something that the average person just simply cannot do, no matter how old they are. This means that even just in high school, as an inexperienced, immature teenager, his IQ already scales higher than the average grown adult. • Created his own dashing homemade suit, to fit his alter ego's needs, with self-adjusting goggles, that improves his senses, and helps him focus. Once more, with no assistance, and with extremely limited resources. • Had the idea to hide his homemade suit in the ceiling of his bedroom, attaching a string to his suit, and utilizing an opening in the ceiling, to access it, which only a smart person will ever think to look in, or bother with. • Had the idea to hide the web fluid, for his web shooters, underneath the lockers of his high school, which obviously only an unusually strong person can lift, such as himself. Nobody in his high school can individually do so other than him. • Had the idea to wrap around Giant Ant-Man in his webs, like he was an AT-AT, just because he watched the great Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back film, of which Tony Stark, and James Rhodes themselves admired, and went along with, where it worked successfully. • Bypassed a Damage Control warehouse security door, by trying every possible combination, until it eventually unlocked and opened, using only a pen and paper, with a calculator to aid him. • Gave the idea to Tony Stark on how to defeat Ebony Maw, after Tony asked him what his plan was, and it worked successfully, just because he saw the Aliens film. Tony is a supergenius, one of the smartest beings, not just on Earth, but in the universe, and he asked Tom's Peter, a young teenager, what his plan was, where it worked successfully, just because Tom's Peter saw a simple film. • Tony Stark trusted him with the powerful E.D.I.T.H glasses, which in itself is an impressive IQ feat. I don't think I need to say more on this in particular, but I will anyway, for further context. Tony could have gave the glasses to Rhodey, Pepper, the other trustworthy Avengers, or anyone else he could trust, but he gave them to Tom's Peter specifically, a young teenager, over his best friend, his wife, and his fellow associates. That is deep trust there. • Was able to form the conclusion that the stray drone he saw displayed illusions, that were fake, and that Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio was the one behind it, after one thorough glance at said separated drone. • Created his own technologically advanced upgraded suit, and though he was indeed using Tony Stark's vast resources, not his own, he was still using his own ideas, and knowledge to do so. Resources are nothing without the crucial knowledge to utilize them with. • Tricked and defeated Doctor Stephen Strange, a highly skilled, and intelligent former surgeon, as well as Sorcerer Supreme, in his own realm, the mirror dimension, that he had complete control of, just because Tom's Peter was competent and capable in math. • Helped fix the inhibitor chip, on Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, and was able to essentially cure him, and allow him to regain his control back over the mechanical arms that manipulated him. • Helped create a complex cure for the other multiversal villains, alongside Tobey Maguire's Peter, and Andrew Garfield's Peter. That concludes my examples, just to show you how brilliant Tom Holland's Spider-Man truly is. He is certainly not to be underestimated. There are no doubt going to be more IQ feats for him in his inevitable future appearances. Out of the three main live-action variations of the character, in the last 20 years, Tom Holland's Peter is potentially the most intelligent, with the highest IQ, and he still has a long way to go, which tells you just how much smarter he can grow to become.
