Was your profile's nationallity Australian? Idk, that's just how it was for me. If i hook up my xbox today, and play, and set my nationality to American, I'd still be in V8's at the start with a badly damaged Betta Electrical Ford V8. My game was called "V8 Supercars 2" which was the Australian version of Toca Race Driver 2. Maybe because you actually had TOCA Race driver 2, but TOCA RD2 and V8 Supercars 2 are the same games, just different starting positions

Prophet In Austria and Germany the game is called dtm race driver 2 and they start you in the dtm cars (german touring cars)

8:36 if this Cesar Marquez is supposed to brazilian they did a terrible job, coming from a brazilian myself but overall pretty nice game a good cutscenes despite the misconseptions

In this version, like in the italian one (the one I'm playing), has a spanish accent, at least in Italian he cleary has a spanish accent, he even says Cabron, Escuchame (I hope I've written correctly) and so on. For Codemasters Brazil is in South America --> they must be speaking spanish.

wow, they changed the content for different regions, right? I wanted to rewatch the cutscenes and, since I'm german, the first race was a DTM race (German Touring Cars Masters), not with a Ford GT :D LMAO
