Una de kas mejires ejecuciones que he oido de esta pieza magistral del genio de la música J.S.Bach. cuando la escucho me transporta al borde.del extasis. Me envuelve en sus notas mágicas y me hipnotiza el espíritu. Música del cielo.

Respekt, Sie sind eine begnadete Organistin mit richtig viel Talent und Freude, dieses Instrument, zu bedienen, ich selber kann zwas diue Toccata, aber breche mir bei der Fuge die Finger. Respekt, wie Sie das meistern!

When I first heard this piece in the late 60s early 70s I was well into heavy rock, Led Zeppelin etc, but this just blew my mind and I thought "hang on, this Bach guy wrote this over 250 years ago......what the hell was he smoking?!!" Through heavy rock I got 'into classical music and this piece will always be a favourite.

Excellente dynamique dans cette toccata. Les pauses sont surprennantes au début. Mais elles donnent l'impulsion des attaques suivantes. Et donnent la vigueur à la fugue. Grand bravo.

What fascinates me with this orgasmic piece of organ composition is how in hell did Bach expect an incredible team of pump operators to provide air for his composition on a completely manual system?

beautiful music from bach, I did not know that the cathedral in passau had two tables for the organ (I can only see that on the video at the pipes)

@Peter Müller the organ has four keyboards on the console itself and the main organ itself has two gaming tables and the second console of the organ has five keyboards

William Lewis Could you imagine an organ this size with drawknobs? It would be immense, and extremely difficult to make large changes.

@@shiningarmor2838 actually, the older consoles still had the ability to switch between large preset configurations using foot pedals, so that wouldn't have been the issue one might imagine. It's fascinating that they figured all this out hundreds of years ago!

This is the movable playing board for the whole 5-part-organ. The stops at the 4manual main organ are register handles to pull and push. This 5manual board has many electric combinations, so these stops are more practical.

But Bach is not Beethoven. He did not write music to paint pictures or tell stories. Baroque music appeals to the intellect not just the emotions.

Technisch ist noch viele Verbesserungen möglich wäre, aber seelenlos und mehr als überheblich, daher sollte die Dame irgendwo mal wo anders ihre Fähigkeiten ausprobieren, und diese Orgel, wenn irgendwie möglich, nicht mehr berühren!!!

@@mosermarcel1970 Sicherlich sollte man Kritik nicht in dieser Form üben. Aber ganz unrecht hat er nicht. Bach scheint der Organistin irgendwie nicht so ganz zu liegen. Bach's 'Musik ist eigentlich nicht notierbar gewesen, die Noten sind eigentlich nur Anhaltspunkte. Bach muss man leben und frei spielen und nicht vom Blatt lesen...
