Wow, I thought your arrangement would have big pieces cut out so that it was easier, but as far as my humble self can tell you managed to play all the parts the organ can! Very cool.

This is the only arrangement I've herd on marimba that actually sounds good. I can tell you really enjoyed playing it and you really emptied your heart onto this song when you played it. Im 14 and i just started working on it. It can get challenging in a few parts but its really fun. nice job.

Well kind of. If you look at the organ score, one can see where this is possible. There are a lot of polyphonic and octave sections. Finally, it's impossible to play all the harmonic and polyphonic parts on mallets. (The organ has both hands and feet and this piece requires you to use ALL of them).

this is AMAZING! a very nice interpretation of bach´s toccata and fugue in d minor. i never heard this score played on a wooden xylophone before. well done :D

+Fabian Kraemer The instrument's called a marimba, actually! They're both in the idiophone class, but the marimba has a much mellower sound and a lower pitch. I agree, it's a lovely interpretation of toccata and fugue!

Allow the overtones in the lower register to work in your favor by slowing the roll speed. The overtones will have more time to gel by rolling slower. By rolling fast in the lower register you are working against the natural reverberations of the instrument. In addition, you are young and play with extreme lacking soul. It's indicative of youth; lets see how fast you can play. Twenty years from now, read this post and see if you don't agree. As of now, you are very offended by my comments.

This is amazing partly because essentially he is performing this piece using only 4 'fingers'. Even a pianist using 10 fingers is challenged to play this it is obvious when watching videos.
