Magnificent instrument magnificently played by a superb artist ! To me, organ lover for over 6 decades who has heard scores and scores of organs and organists from all over the world, a great discovery ! So many thanks

I guess the way I like this toccata played will not be to everyone's taste but for me Gabba's performance is almost perfect. Tempo is spot on!

Dio beneica i Mascioni e maledica, ora e sempre , chi non li apprezza! Per questo pezzo, come per tutti i romantici francesi, mancano i suoni tipici delle ance alla francese e dell'intonazione della loro montre e dei loro ripieni! Cmq bravo e Bravi i Mascioni!

Outstanding, sir! Is this available on CD? I've always enjoyed this toccata and have several versions on CD already....but this my new favorite. Tempo, registration, interpretation...outstanding.

Many thanks for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed in listening to it but, unfortunately, I never recorded this wonderful Toccata on CD. I Recorded for Brilliant Classics a CD featuring Handel organ transcription by romantic composers. Best wishes!

The chord before last chord at the end of sheet sounds different than notes are written (3:36). What is a chord? Maybe I am wrong about it but sounds nice :)
