I LOVE the backpack ban vid. Shown that to multiple family members and it resulted in a huge argument over whether the M&M display or the trashcan was the better idea. (Personally, I prefer the little wakeboard on a rope)

The backpack one was probably just an "anything but backpack" spirit day. We did those whenever we were right before a break or school dance, and we had one for the seniors only one time before graduation and someone brought a whole ass lawnmower. I remember using a laundry basket bc it was also exam week and I didn't have that many things to bring.

8:40 i think both of the middle schools i went to and high schools i went to banned backpacks purely for the sole reason that 1.) kids could have drugs, cigarette's, and what other horrible shit in them 2.) they're big and bulky whenever kids put them to his/her side when sitting down you were only allowed a backpack coming in to put your stuff in the locker, including the backpack, and when school is done for the day so you take it home. this means we had to CARRY more than 2 binders and water bottles wherever we went to class. it was annoying as all hell
