Yeah he can be a little cringey sometimes but the kids like it so I can't complain. He's making so many people happy and giving so many kids a real person that they can really interact with as a rolemodel. I respect that a lot.

because i think in skateboarding, at least, is of importance to be instictive, and just "flow" through it, i've experienced this myself, most of the tricks sometimes are about recognizing your entire body and such, by this i am not saying that the practicing should be left aside, but the imagination plays an important role on having a trick pulled out, and also it is of importance to be the most confident you can with it, like you have to imagine you are one of your skateboarding heroes to do so, it takes sometimes, more confidence than analyzing it through

Good job bro! I build ramps and I have a mini in my garage. I hang ropes from the rafters and I can teach someone to drop in in about 30 min. First they get 2 ropes to hold onto then they get one rope then I take the ropes away and they have the confidence to do it all by themself.

I've dropped in on little 5-6 footers, but what scares me about dropping in on the vert (i never have) is what I would do at the other end, you'd have so much speed and if you've never jumped up on to the ledge on the other side i'd be afraid of just launching in to the air or slamming in to the other vertical side or something

If you don’t pump up the other side of the vert ramp you won’t go that high. It’s not as hard as it looks. Just scary because of the height.

I'm so happy you guys made this video you have no idea. I just decided to start skateboarding (your glass skateboard video is actually what made me decide to get into it) and just rolling on a skateboard is freaking me out. Granted I'm a 21 year old man in the USMC and really shouldn't be nervous about something children do for fun but w/e. Seeing someone who is a veteran to the hobby like that guy still get intimidated about something skateboard related gave me a bunch of confidence.

the glass skateboard also was my first skatevideo I ever wached. I clicked on it while being annoyed that again something showed up in my feed that I absolutely dont care about but as allways it looked quite interesting... I never skated in my life and I dont even manage to just roll on the longboards of some friends but somehow I watch brailles videos several times a day and I feel quite entertained by every one of them... especially the stupid skates ^^

When I was about 15 I went to my first (and only) skatepark.. They weren't a thing in my city. I LOVED the miniramp. I worked up my courage all day and dropped in on the smaller (6') side of the big ramp. I did it, but I didn't know what to do once I got to the other side.. It was so fast I wasn't expecting to get so high hahaha not like rolling in from the bottom. Smashed my wrist on the coping, split it open pretty bad. No break. So yea. This dude is brave haha

I'll never forget first time I dropped in on a 10ft. ramp. I had masonite burns down my entire side, all the way up into my arm pit. I'm 48 now and haven't skated vert in 30 years. That is something I definitely will not be revisiting!

I can't drop in on a pipe at all, besides like a 1.5 foot at my local park lol. I just wanted to see him like try to get used to it instead of just do it once to do it. But it's all good. He still did it.

I would never be able to do that. I'd probably stand at the lip, think about what all my teeth would look like scattered around the bottom of the ramp, and go home and play Tony Hawk. ;~(

+Kasran Fox I was also scared my first time on the ramp, I just couldn't do it. So I started at the bottom of the ramp and worked my way up. After that I had no problems with dropping in . :)

when I was a kid our local park only had a vert half pipe. No small ramps to learn on. It was broken bone city lol

As TA mentioned, (with spelling errors) groms are young surfers/skateboarders and I guess windsurfers/paddle boarders too. But it specifically refers to those with talent, not all brats. The original word is 'grommet' (grommit) but what I can't make out is WHY use that word? I mean, a grommet is a rubber thingy that fits around the edges of a hole in metal/wood/plastic mostly to protect wires that pass through it. Yah, it makes no sense to me either. :¬/

Oh man, I remember being 15 at my local indoor park and I was feeling ballsy and confident so I step up to the vert side of the bowl and I just drop in no hesitation and I immediately ate shit. I didn't lean far enough forward and I didn't push hard enough forward so I just slammed, hard. To top it off, my board knocked me on the head too.
