When you start on the budget world's fastest rc car again, put 60wt-100wt oil in the shocks. Should help with the stability. Use rubber onroad tires and get some scales so you can try and balance it. Hope this helps!

And also make sure to get a banggood esc/motor combo! I got one for my TT02 and its been performing amazingly, I want to compare it to a nice motor but dont want to spend 300$ on a motor when mine is 60$ 😂

@@smar7598 I ran Goolrc motors and escs for a long time before switching to hobbywing. The motors are good, the escs are just weak. I continued to run a Goolrc motor until recently. The escs are fine as long as you don't gear up. They say water proof and are, but the fans aren't. You have to unplug the fans.

Kevin. I've been unemployed for mental health reasons for a few years now and I've been buying used RC parts off eBay to make different vehicles. I've nearly finished the HPI Savage that's based on the 21, but it's going to have a twin motor setup. The 2 TRX4s are so close, just some bits and the bodies to do. Given I don't have much money I've been buying good quality cheap parts and it works, if the parts aren't available or made anymore I just make them by hand. And I want to say a big thank you to RC scrapyard for helping me out, they're the only place I can get the belts for my thunder Tiger TS-4n and TS-4e brand new.

I agree with not wasting money on high end electronics I have aliexpress and wish esc receiver and remotes and they work great havnt had any issues with them I think my esc were $5 my dumborc 6ch remote receiver with cheap esc 2 batteries and spare grips for the wheel was $70 total

One good thing about a decent radio is having exponential adjustment...it can really soften up steering and throttle feel and make control easier. But even then, a radio with that feature can be had for around $100 or less.

Absulutely. I couldn't imagine not having it anymore. Flysky GT3B costs around 30 bucks, receivers go for around 5. With inbuilt failsafe. Still a great alternative to a dumbo. It uses 8 batteries, though.

Those depinning tools are worth every cent, they will save you a headache if working on wiring harnesses.

Had the same issues with my Arrma Kraton 8s bulkheads, gpm fixed it up good with their aluminum bulkheads and I've had zero issues since.

The japanese screw removal pliers from Engineer are excellent, saved me at work loads of times. High quality metal used, no cheapo chinese tat. Be aware there are a few in the range for different size screws, it's not quite one plier fits all.

I've been having a blast with mine. I've had it since December and have ran it nearly every day. Can't wait for Kevin to upload a video for it. I've wondered what his thoughts would be on it. That tiny buggy puts the stupidest smile on my face when I run it.

If you are going to run Cactus Fusion 2 on the 4wd buggy you have to put glue on the side wall and the first row. If not you will traction roll a lot :D

Excited for the M2C Xmaxx build! when you fit in the big motor find yourself a gear combo that will let the end bell sit flush on the chassis, it makes a huge difference. If youre using a 2028 or similar can size TP or hobby wing motor can order a 30t 1.5 mod vitavon spur and 25 tooth pinion (I like saga) then you never have to worry about the spur again!

I love that yoy started racing! A lil pro tip, try to run the Associated buggys as low as Possible we run they at 12mm and then it is very nice in the corners but harder to land smooth at jump, so you can try about 14mm ;D.

Quality parts typically last longer. That's what you money goes towards even though the performance maybe the same. Pay for longevity and quality. Looking forward to the monster truck videos!!

When you can buy 3 of something for the price of 1. Longevity is just an excuse to up the price. "Quality" is a terrible word to describe any RC part imo. Quality needs to be used for describing the manufacturer and how they treat their customers. Ive had far better quality experiences with cheaper part manufacturers than the snobby manufacturers that charge alot more for their products.

@@rotten2209 certain aspects of your argument are definitely true. Having good customer service is very important but if a part or product is truely of good quality then there is no need for customer support and them charging a bit more can then be justified to a certain extent. That doesn't mean if something does go wrong the manufacturer should ignore the customer. They need to be held accountable.

Futaba 4pm is a really good radio if you want something more precise for drifting or circuit racing. Flysky gt5 is what I use for bashers though because receivers are way cheaper.

I'm still surprised that you haven't done an Andy The Landy replica with a trx4. You should do this as your going to do a replica of Game Over monster truck using the raminator. Ps totally agree about wasting your money on the best hop-ups thinking they'll make you go better. All comes down to driver skill and not wrecking your rig in the first place. Can't wait to see you in August 😛👍🏻

Hey kev for racing stuff if you want the best stuff get theses stuff 1. Sanwa m17 2.hobbywing Xr10 pro 3.trinity xfactor 17.5 certified plus 4. Protek 160t 5.trinity white carbon 4300 battery That’s should be all I’ve won countless races with that stuff so it should treat you good

That Losi Mini B on a indoor carpet track is amazing, the stock electronics are crap. I have the hobbywing 18a esc, hobbywing 7800kv motor, savox micro servo & sanwa receiver. Its proper rapid, so much more fun than 10th scale indoor. Other upgrades on my car is the MIP ball diff & MIP CVD drive shafts.

You should cut sections of the snowboard out underneath the suspension components so you can have better suspension travel. Also should give you better handling

Looking forward to seeing the Manta Ray race. eta: as far as radio gear goes, I have a Spektrum DX4pro, and while there may be better available now, I think it was probably the best mid level bang for buck Tx going. You can also get knock off Spektrum Rx's from Ebay.

I would love to go racing but there aren’t really any tracks in the NE of US. A lot of that stuff is out on the East Coast like California or down South in Florida. As far as the M2C bottom brace, I can’t speak to that. I do have the M2C motor mount and too brace and it is awesome and makes it super easy to mesh the gears

Super excited for the xmaxx build. I'm halfway through building mine ( yep, literally buying parts as I go. Miss the kit days, lol. ). But I've got stuck at what motor combo to try, currently settled on the max5 with 1100kv. Look forward to seeing what you do. Did you get your wide maxx arm kit yet, Kev?

Great video. Can't wait to see the racing cars, the snowboard car and of course the 203mph car. Btw Raz almost beat the actual record, I'm not sure but I think it was 198mph. My guess is the record is gonna be broken very soon. Let the games begin 💸💸😅
