I love when she talked about how she loves that the person who she knew him as on the inside has come forth more now bc it used to feel like she was deciphering code when she talked to him, but that it would make sense later. I feel like I’m very similar to him in that people can’t always read me. But it would be amazing to find someone like her who is willing to “decipher the code” in order to get to know me.

If what I imagined above were (mostly/partly) true, no wonder they never made a movie together again after the The Lake House & that they've never been together as a real life couple & probably never will be. 😢

In 1995, Keanu was either still too introverted to open up to a meaningful relationship, or was not really into Sandra beyond friendship. By 2006, Keanu had grown out of himself enough to realize he needs a woman like Sandra in his life. The tiny evidences: @0:10 & 1:52, you can tell from Keanu's projection on his character that he was still uncomfortable with the acting kiss with Sandra. For a split second had a distant look in his eyes before he kissed her. She even jokingly complained about his "Speed" kiss being not so into it in other Lake House interviews. @ all over this video and other Lake house promos, he just struggles between keeping it cool while cannot keep his eyes off her. She cannot keep her hands off him. He elbows her a lot, she teases him a lot. They are comfortably enjoying being together. Who knew what they really look for...
