Seeing this, I decided to add an idea for the AU because why not? It isn’t perfect but a fun base for an idea. - Thrushpelt glanced around the nursery, when he didn’t see Bluefur, he was rather confused. Where had she gone? Rushing out of camp as snow blew against his face, he saw the blue-gray she-cat he loved so dearly. He dashed towards her, utterly confused as to why she was out of camp when the snow was coming down. Shouldn’t she be in camp with her kits? They need her! “Bluefur!” He called out to her, with a shake she turned towards Thrushpelt. Mosskit, Mistykit, and Stonekit hid next to Bluefur before realizing it was their “father,” Thrushpelt. Bluefur stood in shock, her mind slamming against her. What would she say? How would she know explain? “Dada!” Stonekit mewed, his eyes wide with happiness. “Stonekit?” Thrushpelt was confused, why were the kits out here? Bluefur hit the ground and covered her ears, trying to escape her mind. Snowfur’s death screamed in her ears, then Whitekit/paw/storm’s wailing when he heard of his mother’s demise. How could she ever put her kits in that situation? How could she force them to suffer her own pain? But, it was for ThunderClan. ThunderClan was EVERYTHING to her and she couldn’t let that broken-minded Thistleclaw lead it. “Bluefur, how about we just go back to camp and talk about it?” Thrushpelt meowed lightly as he saw her breakdown. Bluefur didn’t hear him as she questioned everything. He nudged her lightly, trying to get her to get up. “I’m cold and I want to go back!” Mosskit wailed as she pressed against Thrushpelt. Bluefur stumbled up, her eyes on Thrushpelt. “Let’s go.” Bluefur muttered as she picked up Stonekit and Mistykit. Thrushpelt weekly smiled and picked up Mosskit. They headed back into camp and settled into the nursery. Thrushpelt worriedly looked to Bluefur. He wanted to help her, after all, that is what love is for, right? “Why were you out of camp?” Thrushpelt whispered, his eyes soft as they laid on Bluefur. She wasn’t replying, muttering about “ThunderClan’s sake.” “I can’t be a queen! I can’t let him be deputy!” Bluefur finally meowed in a wail. Thrushpelt flinched, what was he to say? “You mean Thistleclaw?” Thrushpelt meowed. “That horrific tom could never lead ThunderClan!” Bluefur snapped as her usually steady gaze went wild. “I can be a queen in your place.” Thrushpelt offered. Bluefur’s eyes lit up, StarClan had sent her a blessing. It was the fate she was looking for. She looked to Thrushpelt, seeing the image of a bloodied, war ready, tom. In the background were her starved kits with massive wounds and blood splattered on their pelts. “Accept or die.” Bluefur’s fur pricked. Thrushpelt shook, what would she say at his sudden offer? “.... I accept.” ---------- Edit- (In this AU, I decided to make Oakheart & Bluefur just a fling (Bluefur only agreed because she was stressed and confused about what to do with her life, she never wanted motherhood) and Oakheart had agreed to take the kits if Bluefur brought them. Though, I now want an AU where Bluefur agrees to Oakheart’s offer to join ThunderClan to raise the kits then Oakheart joins ThunderClan as a confused outsider.) Thrushpelt glanced around the nursery as a squirrel hung in his jaws. “Where is Bluefur?” He thought to himself as he backed out. He decided to leave the squirrel in the nursery and come back to it later. As snowflakes drifted onto his muzzle, worry filled the tom as he raced around the camp and to no avail found Bluefur. He raced out of camp, more snow lashing out at him. Thrushpelt barely saw the blue-grey fur of the she-cat he loved with all his heart. He dashed towards her, utterly confused as to why she was out of camp in leafbare while it was snowing. Shouldn’t she have been in camp with her kits? They needed her! “Bluefur!” Thrushpelt yowled out to her. With a shake, she turned towards Thrushpelt’s voice. Her heart raced as snow lashed out at her face. Mosskit, Mistykit, and Stonekit hid under Bluefur before realizing it was their “father,” Thrushpelt. “It’s dada!” Stonekit squeaked with a bright smile as he tried to waddle over to Thrushpelt. “Stonekit?” Thrushpelt meowed as he padded closer. He was confused, why in StarClan’s name were the kits out of camp? Surely Bluefur was just taking the kits to go play in the snow. After all, she would never do anything against the warrior code! Bluefur stood in utter shock, her mind slamming against her. What would she say? How would she explain why she was taking the kits out of camp? Letting out a yowl of agony, Bluefur hit the ground and covered her ears the best she could. She tried desperately to escape her mind, the guilt of Snowfur’s death crying out in her ears. The heartless monster that slammed against her sister’s snowy white fur and ended her life. She was the cause of Snowfur’s death, no matter what anyone said, it was her fault. If only that day neither of them got in that argument and didn’t scent those StarClan forbidden ShadowClan cats. As Bluefur was forced to relive the death of Snowfur, the burning hatred of Thistleclaw and the heart wrenching wailing of Whitepaw dug deep into her like a dog’s rabid fangs. “Snowfur! Snowfur… don’t go!” Bluefur wailed wildly, her eyes wide as they stared out at the white snow. White as Snowfur’s pelt. Tears jetted down her face as she let out pained sobs for her sister to come back. “It wasn’t your time…” Bluefur croaked, barely being able to be heard through the sobs. “Bluefur!” “Bluefur!” “BLUEFUR!” Her head shot up, confused of where the yowling was coming from. She scrambled up and turned, her eyes to Thrushpelt but all she could see was a bloodied Thistleclaw and the bodies of her three kits laid out on the ground as blood was splattered on the once white snow. “I made them look like Snowfur.” Thistleclaw sneered before it faded away into the snow. Bluefur’s paws quaked, her eyes wide in fear and uncertainty as she looked to Thrushpelt and the kits. “How about we go back to camp and talk about it?” Thrushpelt meowed softly as he saw Bluefur about to breakdown again. Bluefur shakily nodded but she unsure if this was the right choice to make. Thrushpelt nudged Bluefur lightly and smiled, trying to sooth the she-cat. “Maybe she was just going through a lot.” Thrushpelt thought to himself as he picked up Mistykit and Stonekit. Bluefur picked up Mosskit before padding back to camp silently. Thrushpelt hurried after her. They settled into the nursery and Thrushpelt covered the kits with a moss nest. “Would you like some of this squirrel I caught?” Thrushpelt offered to Bluefur. “No.” Bluefur replied coldly as she looked away from Thrushpelt. He dropped it near the kits, allowing them to eat instead. Panic set in Bluefur. She needed to give these kits to Oakheart, they had to go with their father! ThunderClan would be doomed to a power-hungry, bloody tom. Despite what Thistleclaw was said about ThunderClan becoming great once again and a stronger force than LionClan themselves, it was all a lie. What he wanted was a bloody war. “Thistleclaw is a killer.” Bluefur muttered, her eyes wide. “Thistleclaw?” Thrushpelt’s head tilted as Bluefur mentioned Thistleclaw. He hadn’t caught the rest of what she said, but from her expression, it wasn’t great. “Yes, that horrific tom! He could never lead ThunderClan because I can never let him! Thistleclaw will bring war!” Bluefur snapped wildly as her crazed gaze set on the image of Thrushpelt turning into Thistleclaw. “I must be deputy, for my clan, for my kin, for my friends, for the sake of the clans!” Bluefur sobbed as her ears hit her head. “I can’t be a queen! I can’t be the mother they need! I never wanted kits.” Bluefur cried out, muttering the last bit. Thrushpelt stood in shock, finally able to hear her pleas. All he wanted was to help her. If she said Thistleclaw would bring ThunderClan into unending war and bloodshed, he would believe her. With his eyes soft and his paws open, he meowed eight words that could change everything. “I can be a queen in your place.” Bluefur’s eyes were wide as she stared at him. Tears dripped down from her face as her claws gripped into the ground. The stars shined in Bluefur’s eyes, turning them into a beautiful night sky as StarClan sent their blessing. The fate she was looking for was here, not with giving Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit over to that sly brown tom. Uncertainty gripped her pelt, Goosefeather said she had to give them up or else, but wasn’t this the same? A dark, muddy forest clouded Bluefur’s vision. Thistleclaw stood tall on a stone with Tigerpaw/claw beside him. She saw the grown versions of Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit cowering under the stone, starved and half dead. Wounds were splattered against their pelt as they tried to protect… her and Thrushpelt’s dead bodies. Thick, crimson dew clouded her view as a chilling voice whispered… “Accept or die.” Bluefur stared at Thrushpelt, her eyes wide with shock as her paws trembled. Meanwhile, Thrushpelt worried what Bluefur would say at his sudden offer. Slowly, her jaw opened and barely mewed two words. “… I accept.” (I think this version is better but feel free to state your opinions about it!)

To be fair, she didn’t give them up because she was afraid of responsibility - it was because she _wanted_ responsibility. She had the vision of the blood-covered Thistleclaw, and she thought it was worth not raising her kits to save the Clan from unnecessary violence or whatever would’ve happened if Thistleclaw had become deputy instead of her. Although it most certainly _is_ her fault, she had no way of knowing that Mosskit would die.

I never forgive her for the making him think they died terribly…

His feelings were hurt because he lost his only 'kits' he lost a lot of shit because he helped her, he lost being a father and what not because of her and the feelings he felt with Bluestars kits is something he will never get with his own, I dont care what anyone says, she shouldnt have played with his feelings the way she did in the book

@@leonbrangeta6925 just one thing.. if you didnt realize in the books, blue gave away the kits so she could be leader because she needed to this Thistleclaw from being deputy... thistleclaw would cause the clan to go up in anarchy. and while she did do that, what did you expect? she cant just go like: " OH YEAH, I GAVE THEM AWAY TO OAKHEART, MY ACTUAL MATE " It was way too risky, for she risked her goal of deputy which she needed to stop thunderclan from being destroyed. so it's either some cat being sad, or her entire clan being ruined. And if anyone says "oh, she shouldn't have fallen in love with oakheart then!" because she realized that was a mistake already, and love is love, and she was foolish then, and didnt realize she would have to give up her family for deputy positon.

Hey, don’t worry! Dappletail was his sister and she outlived Bluestar (at least for a little while) I don’t think thrushpelt would’ve faded after bluestar died when his own sister must have remembered him somehow (up until she died that is)

In Bluestar's Prophecy, it describes Rosekit to be siblings with *Sweetkit* and *Thistlekit*. In Goosefeather's Curse, Thrushkit is born to a litter and has siblings whose names I forget lol. They're not siblings UwU
