Nintendo released a new free channel for the Wii in Europe on Wednesday September 9, 2009.

I noticed that you can put the birthday year in the 1800’s and it makes sense. After a little bit of research, Misao Okawa, a woman from Japan was born in 1898 and died in 2015. I don’t think there is any human left from that time period now!

YES! There was until 2 years ago and Italian lady and until 3 another French lady. And in 2021 there still is another lady in Africa.

@L3landus Can confirm it does. It even works on my European homebrewed region-free wii, and the channel language changes to italian accordingly.

I never understood why this was never released in the US but I did some research and it turns out that some states have weird laws where Fortune Telling is illegal and since this channel is fortune telling tool, maybe Nintendo didn't want to release this in the US and deal with the laws in each state.
