As an Australian citizen born and bred I personally find these laws extremely offensive and a blatant attempt to create a self fulfilling prophecy. I would love to see the statistics for police corruption and crime compared to the "Bikie" statistics because I know what the reality actually is!

A lot of these men (at least here in the US) are ex military that fought for their country. The VLAD laws Campbell Newman introduced have been repealed on the 9th December 2018, replaced by Labor,. The laws now are the Serious & Organised Crime Amendment Act 2016

There are criminals in all walks of life. Of course some might break the law, but so do police and politicians and justice workers to name a few. All of the OMC members I have met (and that is a lot) have all been great blokes and amazing family members. Give me a bikie as a mate any day because then I know I have a loyal friend.

I didn't know Australia was a Communist country. People have 'Rights' and freedoms, if you catch them braking the law fine, but to assume someones guilty before proven in court is not the way of a democratic society, it's discrimination and against 'human rights'. A couple bikers lived on my street and my kids played with their kids. Never had to worry about the safety of them playing on the street, unlike some other areas I lived where my kids couldn't play outside and the cops didn't do anything to make the neighborhood any safer. We're taught in school not to judge people by the way they look or the old saying," Don't judge a book by it's cover." I'd rather have a biker living on my street than a cop, at least the biker isn't a dick and he's more than happy to give you a hand. Australia really needs a 'Bill of Rights' what a Draconian country.

Although I am not a member, I don't even own a harley, I associate with and enjoy the company of my local Rebels Chapter and have done for twelve months now. At over seventy y,o, and a proud biker I think I can pick and choose who I associate with and this club absolutely does NOT deserve this trTREATMENT GET OFF THEIR BACK.

Now Campbell Newman wants to decriminalize marijuana, goes to show he needs to pull his precious little head out of his arse and be educated on the reallity of life. I used to live across the road from Little Micks brother, Rick and I can honestly say that they were one of the quietest homes in the street, down to earth type of guy. These laws are bullshit, I have lost my fathers side due to this, no it ain’t what my father or brothers wanted for me, I have a high education and keep to myself and no trouble from me, yet this, so now where do I stand and my children knowing one side of family are devils and other bikers so we stand alone!
